The Halfords 4 Man Tent Pack is a great starting point for your camping adventure. The simple tunnel design means that there is plenty of room for four people with two bedrooms and a spacious living area in the centre of the tent.

The living area is standing height making it easy to get in and out of the tent so you can easily shelter if it rains.

The pack includes a 4 Man double skin tent, four rectangular sleeping bags, two double airbeds and a handy carry bag to keep everything in one place.

Dreadful Purchase Purchased the 4 man family tent back in May this year and used it for the first time last weekend. Airbeds deflated within 24 hours, tent poles split and the seams broke away - no I know why they are reduced in price!!! 20 August 2012
Not the best purchase I've made Bought this tent for a two night camping trip with friends. Practiced putting it up and realised pretty quickly that the groundsheet wasn't sewn in to the tent. At first this only made me slightly concerned but having read more reviews of the tent I started to panic the night before we were due to leave, especially when the weather forecast suggested rain! I decided to reserve a different tent (Urban Escape Akashi 4 man tent) online through Halfords to pick up on the way to our camping trip and turns out the Akashi was perfect, especially when we had a couple of downpours and remained dry. When we got back I phoned my local Halfords to explain the situation and asked if I could return the items despite them being opened and used. The manager was extremely helpful and understanding and I was offered a full refund. I am so grateful to him for all his help and even more pleased that I chose a better tent as a replacement! 10 August 2012
bad deal Bought the package as it looked like an affordable deal, took it away for the first visit of the year to the lakes, not a good idea, not for this tent anyway. Easy to put up and dismantle and thats about all i can say positive about this tent. Mattress was almost all deflated by the next morning, we had a LIGHT rain shower during our second night which resulted in us waking through the night with raindrops dripping on our heads, and rain coming in through the 4 inch gap between the tent and ground sheet, and when we first put it up noticed by the window a tear in the tent already pre-invisibly mended, obviously not that invisible as we spotted it straight away!!! i intend on going to halfords and returning this tent 06 August 2012
Excellent Value I've just got back from a three-day music festival with the family (me, wife, 3 & 5 year-olds). It was our first camping trip so this seemed ideal and proved to be the case. The festival was nicknamed Muddfest after heavy rain turned the whole site into a sea of 20cm deep liquid mud. But this tent coped better than most. We were dry, warm and comfortable. There are a couple of handy pockets in the tent along with hooks for lanterns. The vents and windows worked well, there are rain-flaps on the door zips to keep out the weather. The groundsheet is NOT sewn-in which might bother some people but, whilst wet, the weather was warm so the extra ventilation was fine for us. I'm sure there are better quality tents out there but for those looking to try out camping for the first time without investing a fortune it is ideal 06 August 2012

NOT SUITABLE FOR FAMILY CAMPING WARNING only buy this tent for one night camping in dry conditions . Water seeped through the tent during a moderate shower. The tent is poorly made with much of the stitching missing the reinforcement tape altogether. When set up there is a 4 inch gap between the ground sheet and tent which also allows water to enter. The flysheet is in contact with the outer tent and was only able to be separated with the addition of 4 extra guy ropes not supplied, this allowed condensation to collect in the sleeping pods making for wet sleeping bags. The sleeping bags are not really sleeping bags and would only be of use for children's indoor sleepovers not for British summertime use. I used this tent once and looking at the way the stitching is already coming apart I doubt it will survive another camping trip. Poorly made and the airbeds also needed pumping up every day 15 July 2012
Value Tent Having bought this tent a friend who had a very similar one said it was a nightmare to put up! I sent my son aged 14 and daughter aged 10 into our garden and they assembled it in about 20 minutes! It looks great cant wait for our first adventure. 03 July 2012

The door has double-zips either side and can be rolled all the way with toggles to hold it up.

During the festival it rained so hard a nearby road was closed due to flooding and the guy driving the tractor used to tow cars out the car park told me his tractor was struggling for grip. The tent remained dry.

The inner tents within the Halfords Family 4 Man Tent Pack are polyester with a polyethylene floor, so are machine washable on a cool 30C wash to get the mud off, followed by a slow spin and drip dry.
