VooDoo Bantu Mountain Bike Product Description

The VooDoo Bantu 20" Mountain Bike features Shimano hydraulic disc brakes for optimum braking power when needed. With a lightweight 7005 alumiumium frame the Bantu has a very high strength to weight ratio for a frame that is rapid on both climbs and descents and with 24 speed gearing and front suspension provides a great entry level into the world of mountain biking.

VooDoo MTBs are well suited to the "all-mountain" style of riding, offering longer travel suspension from the likes of Suntour and RockShox combined with strong and lightweight frames allowing you to really attack the trail.

All VooDoo bikes are supplied built and ready to ride and for your peace of mind come with a free 6 week safety check. Bikes that are delivered to your home/work place are supplied fully built and PDI'd by a trained VooDoo mechanic and will only require the handlebars straightening and tightening and the pedals fitting (if supplied) when you receive your bike. Home/office delivery bikes also come with a free 6 week safety check, please contact your local Halfords Store to arrange your free safety check with the VooDoo trained mechanic.

Fantastic Bike I bought this bike around a year ago and it has been amazing! It was my first 'proper' mountain bike, with adjustable front forks and hydraulic disk brakes etc. I've been all over the UK with it to places such as Cannock Chase, Sherwood Pines and Fort William and havn't had any problems at all! Just stick some Slime in the tyres and the bike is pretty much indestructible, within reason. Adjustments are so easy to make, especially the forks. The bike just rides so well, if you're undecided, then definately go for this bike. You can't beat the quality for the money. 13 September 2012
Great quality bike at an unbeatable price Purchased this bike during one of Halfords' deals that saw £40 knocked off the cost of the bike. Have been using this bike for about 2 months now and can say that the quality of the build is awesome. The adjustable forks, lightning quick gear changes and light frame are features normally found on much more expensive bikes. I traded up from an Apollo and the quality of the ride from the Bantu absolutely wipes the floor with my previous bike. Handles trails and roads extremely well. So pleased with this bike Decided that after 20 years of not riding it was about time I started to enjoy it again, read the reviews here and went for the Voodoo, it is such a great bike, has everything you need, great forks, brakes and super smooth gears and for a very reasonable price Also just wanted to say that the service from the guys in Stevenage was first class, loads of advice and had my bike ready for me within half an hour and all with a smile, it really does make a difference sometimes 10 June 2012
Ace purchase i study a couple of bikes, but when i saw this i couldn't believe it bought it on on a bank hols deal, very very pleased with so far, couldn't of been any better, proves very sturdy and strong on every trail, even jumps. worth the money decided i needed a new bike so looked around and found this. it has hydraulic disc brakes which so far i have found very good. compared to the old wheel rim brakes. the front suspension is very good and with the locking option stops you bouncing all over the place when you pedal. the only down sides are that the finger gear levers can be a bit in the way and the disc brakes turn the quick release wheels into more of a pain than they have to be. the seat is also very comfatuble as i do a 10 mile commute to work this is a plus for me. over all i would reccomend looking at this one before the more expensive brands 19 March 2012
Good buy for price what you get The price I paid for this bike was amazing in comparison with other shops and online sites I studied. High quality, good looks and the spec was way beyond other bikes available for the same price. 09 February 2012

never mind, finally got the darn thing off and can see it is some random no-name brand that cant be bought anyway, just going to go for a shimano replacement for now - also replacing the chain-ring/crank as many of the teeth have bent/broke/damaged .. and .. the rings are non-replaceable - so have to buy whole crank - be careful with this bike - surface its good, but parts a little shoddy in heavy load places like the drivetrain
