The MAXXRAXX 5 Bike 4x4 Cycle Carrier uniquely combines more advantages than any other bike rack enabling you to carry 5 bikes. The MAXXRAXX 4x4 cycle carrier is available for all 4x4 vehicles with a rear mounted spare wheel requiring a clearance of 15 to 25cm.

Will this carrier fit my car?

Tow ball carriers are suitable for your vehicle as long as your vehicle has a towball fitted. For this carrier your vehicle requires a standard fixed or detachable 2 bolt flange tow-bar and you will need to check the nose weight that is suitable for your vehicle, for this cycle carrier you require a nose weight rating of at least 100kg.

Fitting Do's and Don'ts

  • Load capacity of 80kg
  • For fixed or detachable 2 bolt flange tow-bars
  • Suitable for all 4x4 vehicles with a rear mounted spare wheel requiring a clearance of 15cm to 25cm
  • The 2 supplied Auxiliary straps must be used when carrying more than 2 bikes.

MaxxRaxx 5 Bike - Excellent Product This product works very well, and I would recommend it. Unfortunately mine arrived with a bag of components missing. MaxxRaxx sent them to me very quickly, but still a little disappointing. Also bear in mind that the bike are mounted on a substantial metal bar, so the bikes need a gap in the frame big enough to fit the bar and bracket through. Ladies frames and many modern children's bikes may be difficult. My eldest daughters mixte frame has been scratched once before I got the hang of the process. I would still totally recommend it, especially if your using gents frames. 26 April 2011
