The MAXXRAXX 4 Bike Premier Cycle Carrier carries 4 bikes which is fantastic for taking all of the families bikes away on your holiday. It is robustly built from structural steel and finished in a textured matt powder coating. All of the Premier MAXXRAXX cycle carriers are supplied with fixing bolts, locating pins and 2 padlocks for added security.

Why Buy a Tow Bar Carrier?

Tow Bar Carriers allow you to carry your bikes at low level loading leaving your roof free to carry other loads such as a roof box.

Will this carrier fit my car?

Tow ball carriers are suitable for your vehicle as long as your vehicle has a towball fitted. For this carrier your vehicle requires a standard fixed or detachable 2 bolt flange tow-bar and you will need to check the nose weight that is suitable for your vehicle, for this cycle carrier you require a nose weight rating of at least 75kg.

Fitting Do's and Don'ts

  • Load capacity of 80kg
  • For fixed or detachable 2 bolt flange tow-bars
  • Suitable for all cars, vans and 4x4 vehicles without a rear mounted spare wheel.
  • The 2 supplied Auxiliary straps must be used when carrying more than 2 bikes.

Superb Rack I have used other racks before and this one is definitely the best. It is easy to use and doesn't take long to get all the bikes ready on the rack. I would recommend to anyone and this is much better than those hang-on boot racks - which I have used in the past. 10 July 2012
Good for vw t5 camper with tailgate This product was bought purely because it looked like it tilted far enough to enable the tailgate of our t5 campervan to be opened and it did. Very easy to fit and use. 24 May 2012

Great porduct The Maxxraxx cycle carrier will carry up to 4 bikes and adapts for skis and snowboards. A pratical rack that lets you open the rear of your vehicle with the bikes on and lets you carry and tow at the same time. Attached to your FRV easily, although we did have to take it to a garage to got the towbar adaptor on . 18 April 2011

The MAXXRAXX 4 Bike Premier Cycle Carrier is supplied with a security cable which locks bikes to the rack and the rack is then locked to the tow bar with 2 padlocks provided.

The MAXXRAXX 4 Bike Premier Cycle Carrier is suitable for your 2007 Ford Focus C Max providing it has a flange ball tow bar. To comply with legal requirements you will need a lighting board and additional numberplate if the rear lights and/or number plate are obscured when the carrier is in use.

The MAXXRAXX 4 Bike 4x4 Cycle Carrier should be suitable for your 54 plate Renault Grand Espace assuming that your vehicle has either a swan neck or a flange neck tow bar but please check the nose-weight of your vehicle.
