McGard locking wheel bolts Product Description

The McGard locking wheel bolts secure your alloy wheels to your car and their two part manufacture makes them impossible to remove with standard tools.

They are made up of three layers of nickel and one layer of microporous chrome. The first layer of nickel is for corrosion resistance; the second layer of nickel is for lustre and the third nickel layer interacts with the microporous chrome layer to disperse rust. Every lock is through hardened and tempered, reaching the depth of hardness needed for its unsurpassed level of security.

The rotating ring on the bolt / nut head of the SL versions offers the highest anti-theft protection.

Very good these Well as you can guess i purchased these for a set of aftermarket wheels, as the little oiks around my area are like Magpies when it comes to something shiny. So i got them to protect my pride and joy from being the subject of their abusive ways. In all honesty they are really good and i am soo pleased with 1. How they look and 2. how easy they were to fit. Granted the sleeve for the nut was a bit tight around the wheel but thats only my experience. I would not hesitate to get another one but hopefully i will never have to as these fit soo well and in all honesty fit better than standard nuts. All in all good purchase. 20 January 2012
