Apollo Spektor Boys Mountain Bike - 20" Excellent bike. Bought 2 for our twin boys' 7th birthday. Fairly light, good quality shimano gears that are easy to use and the whole bike very smart in black/silver. The boys are chuffed! Really good value too. 21 May 2012
Super bike! Our 6 year old adores this bike, his first grown up one with no stabalisers! He find it easy to ride and it is very sturdy. The bike also looks very "cool" with the skeleton on it so it is much admired by his friends. We got it asembled in store so it all fits together well and looks like it will last a few years so good value for money. We have had a few tumbles off it so far but it is holding its own with no damage so we are very happy with our purchase. 13 May 2012
Great service and a happy 6 year old! Reserved the bike online and due to a compressed timeline, didn't request that the bicycle was built. Less than 4 hours later, arrived at Halfords to find the bicycle in the final stages of build. A helpful member of staff quickly completed the paperwork whilst his colleague provided me with a comprehensive final safety demonstration/check. On arriving home, the smile on my son's face reflected my feelings of complete satisfaction for the whole process and service provided by Halfords in Truro. Some 4 weeks later, the bike is performing as should be expected with no problems encountered. The bike looks good, is strong without being overwhelmingly heavy; the gears and brakes are easy to use, again manageable for a child to use without too much effort. A happy 6 year old's pride and joy! 12 March 2012

Due to the Apollo Spektor being a 20" wheeled bike the only recommended Halfords mudguard to suit this bike is the Kids Bike Mudguard Set (158546). Should you require any further assistance please go to your local Halfords store where a member of staff will be happy to help you further.

There is a standard seat bolt on the frame, so the saddle can be adjusted for height with a 13mm spanner.
