The Garmin Forerunner 110 is the easiest way to track your training. It's GPS-enabled so it knows how far and how fast you run - with no bells or whistles. There's virtually no setup required, so you can just press start and run or walk with it. Forerunner 110's data-friendly display makes it simple to read on the run with the all-important time, distance and average pace always there when you need it.

  • High-sensitivity GPS-enabled unisex sports watch tracks your moving position even under heavy tree cover and near tall buildings for accurate and reliable distance, speed and pace data; HotFix satellite prediction.
  • Compatible with optional wireless heart rate monitor. Pair with a Garmin heart rate monitor and tailor your workouts to your ideal heart rate; shows current, average, max performance; features five training zones for easy goal setting (HRM not supplied with this version).
  • With HRM, the Forerunner 110 provides heart-rate based calorie measurement to show how many calories you are burning during your workout; accurately calculates how much energy you're using during training; pair this function with your nutritional intake for balanced fitness (HRM not supplied with this version).
  • Pace, distance and (optional) heart rate alerts. The Garmin 110 keeps you on course by sounding an alarm if you stray from a preset parameter (with appropriate sensors)
  • Auto lap training automatically triggers a lap every mile, ideal for those vital splits
  • Lap history saves up to 1,000 laps of training data within the internal memory

Good Product My wife bought me this to help me train for a half marathon. Didn’t think I needed it, but quickly got into the split time feature and the fact it stores info on my previous runs, meaning I can keep track of whether I’m improving or not. Less obtrusive and more accurate than my smartphone. Pros: Heart rate monitor Cons: Screen resolution could be higher. 14 October 2012

Yes this should be compatible, we would still recommend the Soft HRM over the old style.
