The JVC KD-R331 has a powerful internal 4 X 50 Watt MOS-FET amplifier ensures that your music can easily be heard regardless of ambient noise although the unit also includes line outputs and a subwoofer output with level control for those who require even more sound.

For cars fitted with a non standard sized car audio unit a new fascia adaptor will be required (additional cost). Very good quality fo under £50! Very good product. Super easy to connect, works straight away. Finds radio stations easily and plays mp3's from CD. I have got 231 my favorite songs on one CD, that's more than enough! Equalizer allows to have custom settings. GREAT STUFF! 12 June 2012

Why No Case/Remote

Just bought and installed the JVC KD-331 Car stereo, great unit ,good sound,easy to work. However on the Halfords website under the product description -Whats in the box it clearly states the unit, remote, and carry case . all you get is the unit . can Halfords please explain this or has my box already been opened and robbed??.

Memory problem

Hi

I bought this stereo today, however, the only problem i am facing is it doesn't start from the track/radio station when I switched off my car. I don't know if there is any solution, if not then I will return the stereo. it is so annoying because every time i have to navigate to where I left after swtiching off my engine. Any help would be really appreciated.

Hi,
Sounds like you've got the power supplies the wrong way round. If the player came with an additional harness that plugged in back, you need to separate the connectors located in the red and yellow cables and swap them over (so red goes to yellow and visa-versa)

If you connected the radio direct to the car harness then you will need to apply the same principal to the wiring in the vehicle (which is a little more tricky!)..
