Maxi Cosi Opal Child Car Seat Walnut Brown Description

The Walnut Brown Maxi Cosi Opal Child Seat has a 2 position base which makes it easy to switch your child from rear facing to front facing in seconds.

The same seat belt routing is used for rear and forward facing positions which helps prevent incorrect fitting, giving you peace of mind at all times.

Features & Benefits of the Maxi Cosi Opal Child Car Seat

Multiple Recline Positions

The Opal child seat has 5 reclining positions in forward facing mode and is easily adjustable. It also has 2 recline positions in a rear facing position.

Side Impact Protection

Side Impact Protection improves safety for your child with deep, softly padded sides in the event of a collision.

Rear Facing & Front Facing

The Opal is a perfect combination child seat offering front and rearward facing positions. Keeping your child in a rear facing position for longer, your child is offered more safety for longer and more legroom.

Installation

A one-click switch from rearward to forward facing position uses the same belt routing system to help prevent incorrect fitting in your car. The belt tensioner is used in both positions to ensure correct fitting and the seat is fitted with your car's 3 point seat belt system.

Safety Harness & Headrest

The 5 point safety harness offers maximum comfort with harness pads preventing rubbing on your baby's neck. It has belt hooks to keep the harness out of the way so that you can get your child in and out without any hassle. The headrest is adjustable (6 positions) and when moved, the harness moves with it. The width of the seat is also adjustable to grow with your child.

Accessories

The Opal comes with a soft, padded cover that is easy to remove without adjusting the harness and is machine washable. It also includes a support pillow for your newborn baby to give more support to their head and neck.

Maxi Cosi Opal Child Car Seat Walnut Brown After extensive research online into baby/child seat and visiting our local store for closer inspection plus questioning the sales person we decided on this car seat for our grandson. When our daughter arrived from Australia she was over the moon with our choice. It envelops the baby comfortably and is easy to get the baby in and out of it.
