Pioneer SPH-DA100 is the first car stereo to revolutionize the driver's smartphone experience by bringing compatible apps to your dash. When connected to a compatible Apple iOS or Android smartphone loaded with Pioneer's free App, Pioneer SPH-DA100 in-dash stereo provides the ultimate in-vehicle smartphone experience.

Featuring the first ever in-dash, capacitive touchscreen, you can enjoy full on-screen access and control of your contacts, calendar, maps, and more with an intuitive interface, formatted and designed specifically for safer in-vehicle operation.

Pioneer has teamed up with app providers to offer compatibility with many of todays most popular in-vehicle apps, while also developing an expanding catalog of AppRadio compatible apps for future features and functions that can be easily and seamlessly added. Pioneer SPH-DA100 will even notify you when new compatible apps are released.

Additional Information

Compatibility pre iPhone4/4S products on iPod touch and iPhone 3G is limited to audio playback/control only. iPod touch 4th gen (same as iPhone4) will work for audio and app control. Apps stored in the itouch will work anywhere (navfree and my gps), other live apps will require WiFi to work (Internet radio etc).

The SPH-DA100 is currently compatible with iPhone4 / 4S for app app control / advanced app mode and compatible Android smartphones (optional Android lead required CA-ANW-200). iPhone5 connectivity will be available in early 2013 (optional cables required) Audio control, Bluetooth Handsfree / Bluetooth Audio Streaming and charge are all compatible for iPhone5 now (with apple lightning adaptor).

For cars fitted with a non standard sized car audio unit an additional fascia adaptor will be required (additional cost). A wiring harness adaptor may also be required ( additional cost). To find out if your vehicle requires additional adaptors, please contact your local Halfords store

Store fitting applies to units fitted at Halfords stores. Normal mobile fitting charges will apply for mobile fitting requests or complex installs, which after inspection, require a mobile fitting contractor - details will be provided by your local Halfords store.

Fitting service applies to products purchased in Halfords only. Pre-booking may be required. Ask in store for more details of fitting service. Extra charges may apply to vehicles with non standard wiring. Fitting subject to vehicle inspection, vehicle restrictions may apply.

Bargain Definatly worth the money. Use your sat nav through your phone with waze! No cd player but i havnt used one in a good while anyway. Bluetooth is spot on. U cant use the sat nav and listen to radio but u can use any radio app and leave that on so does the same thing. Looks the business. Cant remove the front plate which is a bit of a nuisance. U can play youtube and so on through the screen which it doesnt advertise. Halfords fitted for me and the staff in st.helens were top draw. Sat nav, bluetooth, radio if u just want this get it 03 September 2012
Quality modern kit I used this with my iPhone 4S. It's basically your iPhone on a bigger screen in-dash. Can view pics, videos, use media apps, Sat Nav apps. Got a solid good-quality feel to it. Well worth the money. 31 July 2012
Pioneer App Radio I bought this for my 2009 BMW 3 Series. TOp product, the parott bluetooth works really well with any phone. The mapping apps are really good and perfect considering they are free and a proper navigation unit would cost double the price. The screeen is a really good size and clear to see even in direct sunlight. My favourite app is the music server called AUPEO which is your very own personal music server and best of all....its free! If you have an iPhone or Android phone and are thinking about a scren in your vehicle, then this is the product you want,. Top marks Pioneer!! 30 May 2012
Not so good It does most things well, but the one fault with it ruins the whole experience for me. If you use the phone function it will loose the destination in the sat nav. It might sound picky, but try doing a 300 mile trip and having to stop to reprogramme the destination on the sat nav every time you make or receive a call. Nightmare. !! 08 May 2012
Great Pioneer Head Unit A very tidy head unit packed with features! easy to install and easy to use. plenty of settings as expected from Pioneer to get the sound levels exactly as you like them. Slightly disappointed with the description as it states removable faceplate which it doesn't have, But it is still worth every penny.It doesn't come with a user manual, but it comes with installation instructions.And for those worried the reverse camera socket is a standard RCA connection, not a Pioneer specific connection. So you can plug in any standard reverse camera. Highly recommended!!! 06 May 2012

You will need to check if your car will take a double din sized unit, if so then yes it will fit.
Additional adaptors will be required & once fitted we should be able to show you how it works.
If you need assistance with what parts/will it fit, please contact your local Halfords store who will be able to take a look for you before you buy.

This unit is not a TV or video.
If a unit is installed that has TV or Video playback, its wired in a way that it will only function if the handbrake is on.
