The Boardman Performance Hybrid Race Bike 2012/2013 Large 21" features a lightweight 7005 triple butted aluminium frame, Shimano 18 speed drivetrain, Avid Single Digit 3 V-brakes and 700c double wall alloy rims offering both great performance and value. All these features make the Boardman Large 21" Hybrid Race the ideal entry bike for the more serious leisure and commuter rider

Frame & Forks: Boardman Performance Hybrid Race

Weighing only 12.3kg, the strong and lightweight 7005 triple butted alloy frame and aluminium fork blades allow for increased power transfer which in turn leads to better acceleration and handling whilst still being comfortable enough to ride on the urban commute or gentle trails.

Transmission: Boardman Performance Hybrid Race

Shimano M390 Acera 18 speed groupset has a wide range of gears, great for finding that perfect gear, on a variety of terrains.

Brakes, Tyres and Wheels: Boardman Performance Hybrid Race

Powerful Avid Single Digit 3 V-brakes that gives you plenty of stopping power, giving you that extra confidence when riding in an urban environment. The Vittoria Randonneur 700x32c tyres are mounted onto durable double walled rims with QR hubs that are versatile enough to use on both road and dry trails, whilst the slick tread allows for minimal rolling resistance.

Finish Kit: Boardman Performance Hybrid Race

The bike is completed with Boardman's signature finishing kit comprising of Handlebars, Stem, Seatpost and Saddle.
