Boardman Performance MX Race Bike 2012/2013 - Large 21"

The Boardman Performance MX Race Bike 2012/2013 - Large 21" is a multi surface hybrid bike, offering high performance and featuring a lightweight 7005 triple butted aluminium frame, SRAM 27 speed drivetrain, Avid BB5 Mechanical disc brakes and a Suntour NEX 63mm Travel suspension fork ensuring a fast and easy ride, combining the best features of both a off-road and road bike.

Frame & Forks: Boardman Performance MX Race Bike

Weighing 14kg, the Boardman Performance MX Race bike features a strong yet lightweight 7005 triple butted alloy frame with suspension corrected geometry combines a comfortable riding position with a sportier geometry, perfect for both those lazy Sunday rides or that midweek blast.

Transmission: Boardman Performance MX Race Bike

The superb SRAM X5 27 speed drivetrain provides accurate and reliable shifting in most conditions due to its 1:1 ratio. Whilst the FSA Dyna Drive 48/36/26t chainset ensures a wide enough range of gears to enabling you to find the perfect gear for almost any terrain.

Brakes, Tyres & Wheels: Boardman Performance MX Race Bike

The powerful Avid BB5 Mechanical disc brakes with 160mm rotors create plenty of stopping power in a controllable yet lightweight package, whilst also maintaining high levels of power adverse weather conditions better than most other braking systems. The Schwalbe Tyrago 700x37c tyres with Kevlar Guard help to protect against punctures whilst being versatile enough to use both on and off-road. Double walled rims laced onto Formula QR hubs ensure that the wheels can be simply and quickly removed for maintenance, transport and storage.

Finishing Kit: Boardman Performance MX Race Bike

The bike is completed with Boardman's signature finishing kit comprising of Handlebars, Stem, Seatpost and Saddle.
