TomTom GO LIVE 825 Sat Nav - UK, ROI & Western Europe 4 5 2 2
Reasonable buy, good unit The sat nav is a LOT better than my TomTom One, which it is replacing. The screen is bright and clear and it is quite easy to operate. Price was reasonable on a " special sale" although available from others on the same day at a similar discounted price. Reserving and collecting was a breeze, no issues there, but the product delivery was badly let down by staff not being sufficiently interested to offer to come out and show us how it worked, as advertised in store, despite there being several staff not doing much at the time. All in all, the mapping is very good, the voice much better than the old type sat navs, and junctions etc are very clear. Plus, it has added Bluetooth so you can connect a phone to it, or an MP3 player, which may be useful if not in your own car. I would recommend the product - was happy it came with a free upgrade to lifetime maps updates, although the live feature is only a year subscription included and is quite pricey. 10 November 2012
Too slow My previous Tom Tom was far quicker in planning routes - also, mileage to destination doesn't show on screen when driving whereas my prevoius one did. 10 November 2012
