Now you can control and enjoy music, navigation and other smartphone apps safely while on the move. With the first MirrorLink compatible in-car AV centre Sony XAV-601BT, you're always in touch with your digital world while you're behind the wheel.

Dual USB ports on the Sony XAV-601BT allow simultaneous connection of two portable devices. Make calls and use your smartphone's navigation app, while browsing album artwork and playlists on your iPod or Walkman or listening to tracks stored on USB flash memory.

Music searches, control of linked devices and other functions are a pleasure via the Sony XAV-601BT touchscreen's speedy, responsive '3D-style' interface. Choose your background wallpaper image, or select from a choice of six eye-grabbing visualisations that bring music playback to life.

MirrorLink seamlessly connects your phone with your vehicle's information and entertainment system. Approved applications and content are 'mirrored' from the mobile device onto the display of your in-dash head unit. Additional Information

For cars fitted with a non standard sized car audio unit an additional fascia adaptor will be required (additional cost). A wiring harness adaptor may also be required ( additional cost). To find out if your vehicle requires additional adaptors, please contact your local Halfords store

Store fitting applies to units fitted at Halfords stores. Normal mobile fitting charges will apply for mobile fitting requests or complex installs, which after inspection, require a mobile fitting contractor - details will be provided by your local Halfords store.

Fitting service applies to products purchased in Halfords only. Pre-booking may be required. Ask in store for more details of fitting service. Extra charges may apply to vehicles with non standard wiring. Fitting subject to vehicle inspection, vehicle restrictions may apply.

A really nice head unit The front can be a bit hard to remove, but as long as you keep the button pressed, you will have no trouble. Love the animations, and the sense me, works really well. Nice sharp screen. Some of the icons can be a bit small, and hard to see when driving. Highly recommend. 04 October 2012

You will need to check if your car will take a double din sized unit.
If it will then yes it will fit & you will/may need the following adaptors :-
Antenna/Harness/Fascia/Steering Wheel.

Sony have a GPS add-on for this which enables TomTom GPS navigation (it is the XA-NV100T - do you have this ?

The standard connections for doube din units do not work with the Bose system installed in a 2006 Mazda3 MPS. Will you have the required wiring adapters ?
