The Carrera Zelos Limited Edition Road Bike consists of a fantastic looking lightweight and strong T6 alloy frame, Shimano 14 speed gearing, with STI shifters, Tektro dual pivot brakes and lightweight double wall alloy rims.

This bike is ideal for people wanting to get into road cycling or to be used as a winter training bike.

Weighing an impressive 11.7kg, the strong and lightweight T6 alloy frame with alloy suspension forks that help to absorb shock and enhance your bikes handling properties to ensure you have a smooth ride.

Transmission: Carrera Zelos

A Shimano chainset and Shimano 14 speed gears, incorporating an Shimano 7 Speed rear derailleur, and Shimano STI trigger shifters for smooth shifting.

Brakes, Tyres & Wheels: Carrera Zelos

Tektro dual pivot disc brakes help control steering and provide efficient braking, whilst the strong double walled alloys rims with Quick Release wheels provide plenty of grip.

Excellent road bike. This really is a great road bike. Having rode bikes all my life, I haven't had a road bike since my late teens, preferring the strength of mountain bikes. I thought it was time to get a road bike to join my army of Carrera bikes, and decided upon this one as it was at sale price, and thus was a bargain! I've only been out on it twice so far due to the poor weather we've been having recently. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the comfort of the bike. The performance is fantastic, this being the main reason for wanting a road bike as my mountain bike just won't go fast enough (I do literally take it to its limits!). The only real downside I can think of at the minute is the cheap pedals. When I have the money I will be replacing these. The bike also looks great with a quite striking colour scheme. 16 February 2013
