20/08/2008 - Skoda gives new Roomster customers free trim upgrade

See our latest range Skoda's MPV offering, the Roomster, could be the choice for families who want more value for money, fuel economy and practical features, the carmaker says.

Until the end of September, parents can buy the Roomster 2 for the price of the Roomster 1, the Roomster 3 for the price of a Roomster 2, or a Roomster Scout for the price of a Roomster 3.

All models have features that could be handy for those transporting their little ones from A to B - including school runs - Skoda says.

These include good use of space, "impressive" fuel economy and "great" visibility for passengers with its raised rear seats.

Skoda describes the Roomsters as "split into a driving room in the front and a spacious and airy living room in the rear".

Other features include oversized rear windows, panoramic sunroof and raised seating position, with removable sets to turn the MPV into a small van "able to hold any weight and shape, from picnic baskets and camping equipment to bicycles and surf boards".

Cycles could also be transported using a Halfords Value Rear Low Mount 2 Cycle Carrier, priced at £32.99.
