The new Skoda Superb has scooped two titles, winning the medium class category at the 2008 Golden Steering Wheel awards and the 2008 Technobest award.
Organised by German-based magazine Bild am Sonntag, the car beat six other competitors to the Golden Steering Wheel title, with the jury considering factors including driveability, roominess and value for money.
The vehicle's win at the 2008 Technobest awards additionally saw it named best looking car in Poland, best company car in Croatia, car of the year in Latvia and company vehicle of the year in Germany.
Skoda auto chairman, Reinhard Jung, said: "These prestigious awards are an important sign that the popularity of Skoda Auto's flagship vehicle is constantly growing. All elements we considered important during the vehicle’s development are now being appreciated by the customer."
The news comes after the car also won car of the year in Austria, winning its mid-size category.
