Lexus has announced it will be unveiling the new RX 450h range at its world premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The hybrid set, planned to go on sale in Europe next summer, is scheduled to replace both the current RX 400h hybrid and RX 350 petrol engine models.

Further details about the range are set to be announced early next year, though prices are due to begin at £36,273 - with fuel consumption at 34.9 mpg combined and carbon dioxide emissions of 192 g/km.

The manufacturer adds the vehicle set will apply advanced technology to deliver high performance, while maintaining low engine volume.
