The performance of Suzuki Rider Paul Edmondson at the recent Welsh two-day Enduro event may have encouraged motorcyclists to get back on their bikes and make the most of the summer.

According to the manufacturer, had it not been for the weather, the competitor would likely have won the entire event after performing admirably after a torrential fall of rain that came after the eventual winner had raced.

"Talk about bad timing," he said. "That downpour really made hard work of things and although I rode really well in the wet, I couldn't match the dry times posted by the two leaders."

However, Edmondson won the E2 class race, despite missing out on taking the overall prize.
