Hotel companies are unlikely to build new accommodation specifically for the London 2012 Olympics, it has been claimed.
Thousands of tourists are expected to descend on the capital for the duration of the Games, with most of them requiring somewhere to stay.
According to Accor Hotels director of UK field sales David Rushton, it does not make sense to start building now.
"It takes seven to eight years - to acquire land, conceive the design and construct a hotel," he said.
Brits heading to the capital for the games - or any other event - might want to stop in at Halfords on their way.
The Halfords Family Tent Pack is reduced from £239.99 to £119.87 and contains all the necessary items for a four-person camping trip.
If thinking about the Olympics has you considering taking up cycling, Halfords also has a full range of bikes to suit any need.
The Raleigh Glide Womens Mountain Bike 15" is currently less than half price at £159.99.
