Collect In Store
Check the availability of the product you want and collect it in your chosen store by using the stock checker on each product page. If the product is in stock, reserve it online and it will be ready to collect within one hour. If it is out of stock, order the product before 3pm Monday to Friday and it will be ready to collect from 1pm the following day including Saturday. Orders placed on Saturday for collection after 1pm Monday and order Sunday for collection after 1pm Tuesday.
Goods can be delivered to your home or work address.
Do I have to register before I buy?
No, you do not have to register to shop on Halfords.com. For a quick and easy online checkout simply enter your contact, delivery and payment details in the checkout process. You will be given the option when you have completed your purchase to register if you wish to do so.
Why should I register?
If you do decide to register you will save time when purchasing in the future as you won’t have to enter your personal details each time you visit our site, plus if you opt to, you’ll receive regular new and information on Halfords products and services, plus special offers and promotions.
How do I register?
Create an account by clicking on ‘Register’ at the top of the site. You will be asked to complete your email address, set up a password and enter your name and contact address details. Click to Register
What if I need to change my details?
To update your details simply go to ‘Log in’ at the top of the site to change your personal details, update or add an address or view your order status.
What if I forget my password?
Click on ‘Register’ or ‘Log in’ at the top of the site and then click ‘Forgotten Password’. You will be asked to enter your email address and then click on ‘send me my password’. Your password will then be emailed to you.

How do I find a product?
You can browse our main online from the top navigation bar which appears continuously throughout the site by clicking onto one of the department links e.g. Sat Nav & GPS. Continue clicking within the category until you find what you are looking for. For example, to find a bike helmet, click on Bikes, Bike Accessories, Bike Helmets.
Alternatively you can search using the box at the top of the site by entering either a keyword for example ‘sat nav’, or the six-digit product code that appears in our press advertisements.
Can I filter the list of products?
When you get to a list of products you can refine the number that appear by choosing a brand name and/or minimum and maximum price in the filter at the top of the product list. Where product comparison is available you can filter the list of products by choosing the attribute that is key to your requirements.
How do I know if a product is in stock?
Product availability is displayed on the product detail page, showing whether the item is available to Collect In Store or for delivery to your home or work.
Please use the stock checker on each product page to check the item you want is available in your nearest store.
Very occasionally, we may run out of stock of a popular product and there is a short time lapse before we can update the site. In the unlikely event that you are able to place an order for an out–of–stock item, we will contact you via email or phone.
In the rare instance that items are reserved in a store but are not available, if you have provided your email address and/or mobile phone number we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible to advise.
Some items are delivered directly to you from the supplier and may be on a longer delivery lead–time. The delivery time for all products is displayed on the product detail page.
Does your website have the same products and pricing as your stores?
We regularly offer online deals that may not be available in-store. ‘Web Exclusive’ refers to a product that is only available online or means that the product is cheaper online than in–store.
We work hard to ensure we offer you the best prices possible. As part of this, we offer online exclusive deals that may not be available in-store. When you order online to collect in store you pay the price that is displayed on the website, even if it is cheaper than in-store.
At Halfords we want to make shopping with us as easy and convenient as possible. That's why we offer you choices on how to shop. If you have seen something online that you would like to get straight away, use our Collect In Store service to reserve your item(s) online and collect from your local store today, or to have them delivered to store tomorrow. Alternatively, order online and we will deliver to your home or place of work, on a day of your choice.
How do I buy online?
We work hard to make sure that shopping with us online is easy, so here's a helpful step-by-step Guide to Purchasing on Halfords.com:
1) Find the product you want. See ’Finding a Product’ for help.
2) Click the ’Add to basket’ button. When the product has been added to your basket, you will be notified of any essential products that are necessary to make your item work when you get it home and given the option to add them to your basket if required.
3) Once you have added all the items you want to purchase to your basket, click ’Continue’.
4) Select the radio button for your preferred option and click the ’Checkout’ button.
