Halfords Car Ramps - Pair is rated out of 5 by 23.Rated 5 out of 5 by RampyMcRampface from Does what it says on the tin Need ramps for your car? How about some nice orange ones? I bought these ramps so that I could repair the exhaust on my Mini and guess what, it is now repaired. Happy days!Date published: 2017-09-20Rated 5 out of 5 by Gary1067 from Car ramps Excellent set of car ramps would recommend them to everyone the do exactly what they describe to do very pleased car'nt fault them ********** 10 out of 10Date published: 2017-06-13Rated 5 out of 5 by H12lnj from Car ramps Fantastic piece of kit. Had my Defender on these ramps and feel totally safe. No issues with slipping due to a folded piece of carpet on each ramp (work it out it's not rocket science)Date published: 2017-05-15Rated 5 out of 5 by Pipster1212 from Does the job Great ramps, do what they're supposed to and price wasn't bad. Would recommend.Date published: 2017-02-04Rated 4 out of 5 by Bobcarol from Halfords Car Ramps Have yet to use these, however excellent vale and sturdy construction I would recommend these to any DIYer MotoristDate published: 2016-12-30Rated 5 out of 5 by DrunkOnFumes from Does the job but be aware of tyre width limits I have a mk1 1.6 focus with 215/45 R17 tyres and it just about fits on the ramp. So anything wider may be an issue. The car has been lowered by 30mm on eibach springs so the ramp rubs against the rubber splitter a little going up it. So lower cars may need to use the ramp extensions to avoid damaging the bumper. The ramp is sturdy and definitely feels more secure than jack stands. Rear wheel drive cars may struggle to get the front on the ramps as they tend to slip. So if you have a rear wheel drive car the ramp extensions are a must. Other than that. It's a decent price and seems sturdy enough to last the years.Date published: 2016-12-17Rated 5 out of 5 by Rob1965a2 from Ramps Do what you expect. Easy enough to use. Did slide a little but careful use helped.Date published: 2016-12-16Rated 4 out of 5 by DaztheDuke from Halford Car Ramps are strong but can slip These are strong. My VW transporter was up on them for a week or so with no sign of collapse. The problem i had was getting the van up on to them. On a concrete drive they slip dangerously which is disconcerting (and noisy for concerned neighbours) The manufacturer really should have considered a solution to this. Some rubber stuck to the underside of the base would be a good idea.Date published: 2016-07-18
