Voodoo Limba Mens Adventure Bike - 52, 54.5, 57cm Frames is rated out of 5 by 8.Rated 5 out of 5 by CJ1O1 from More than the price suggests I bought one of these bikes when an opportunity arose i could not refuse. I moved out the North Yorkshire where the bridleways and farm tracks are just excellent and prolific, this is a great bike for green laning, its very robust and highly capable. Yes its heavy at 13kg, but thats not much of an issue off road. I fitted Schwalbe Land Cruiser tyres 700*35c, and as a combo this works really well, sometime the tyres might spin out on muddy climbs - get off and walk, but most of the time the bikes low gearing and the tyres work to give good traction. Even did the Moors and Shores sportive on it amongst people who clearly had a lot more money than sense, had no mechanicals at all, again it just worked and worked well.Date published: 2018-05-18Rated 3 out of 5 by AshB83 from Great bike I love my new bike. I waited ages to choose a new bike. I love going out on my bike but didn't want to spend too much on a new bike. I got a great deal and paid £320 instead of the £450 RRP. Bike looks great and is light and fast. It took my some time to get used to not having suspension and you may need to compromise with tyre pressure and speed if you want a more comfortable ride on rougher terrain. I would highly recommend this bike. If you don't want to pay the world but get a bike with good spec then get the Voodoo Limba.Date published: 2018-05-17Rated 4 out of 5 by Podpip from Actually surprised! My first "road" bike for years, and only really purchased for the Ride 100 in London - so wanted something affordable but also keepable for the long-term if i decide to take up more cycle events... I was very surprised at how efficient and nippy this bike is! Positioning and comfort are generally ok, and it isnt too much heavier than others i tried... The only "negative" comment would be that it needs more than 16 gears, as you are pretty limited to around 25mph maximum pedalling... All considered, however, this is a very good bike and definitely recommended for those nearer the beginner end of the spectrum (like me!) : )Date published: 2018-05-17Rated 5 out of 5 by Cycleman56 from Pity about the build Great bike, can't fault the performance. Pity the same cannot be said about the build quality. Had to go back 3 times, yes e times before everything was sorted. Definately won't be getting my servicing done at Halfords Andover.Date published: 2018-05-09Rated 4 out of 5 by BostonKillinure from Fantastic will be back!! Good stable bike. Easy to ride and changing gears is perfectDate published: 2018-03-15Rated 5 out of 5 by Bigernmakraken from Jurasic coast fun A fantastic bike for the price. Fun and quick. Plenty of gears and very smooth ride. Great look and cool paint job. Well happy with my purchase.Date published: 2018-03-11Rated 5 out of 5 by Alexander92 from Fantastic ride. comfortable, light weigh(not lightest, but great ).. paint job is a plus, very reflective for night/early morning rides.. overall very happyDate published: 2017-12-31Rated 5 out of 5 by Andyj570 from Very good entry level bike Living in north Wales there are an awful lot of options when it comes to roads tracks and extreme down hill. I had also not rode a bike for 5 years so did not want to go crazy with the price. After careful consideration I decided to go for a cyclocross which would be suitable for both on and off road biking. This pocket rocket does not disappoint. It is a very smooth ride, very well balanced and geared perfectly for someone sporty. I do a lot of steep up hill riding and although I exert a lot of pressure on the rear wheel with my 15st lump of a frame it copes perfectly well. I had a couple of gearing issues to start with but the lads at cheater halfords soon sorted it and gave me a lot of tips and advice on how to actually ride and gear correctly. This bike will easily keep up with the high end road bikes and on the circuits I ride would actually leave them standing. It is a very good looking bike and very strong and sturdy. It handles brilliantly even at 40+mph downhill. Breaking is brilliant even in the wet. The weight is also very impressive without compromising on the build quality. All in all this is a very good bike and in my opinion is far better than the price suggests. Would recommend to anyone wanting something for the roads with the confidence to take it down a track at speed. A real thrill and joy to ride.Date published: 2017-12-29
