Apollo Contour Folding Bike is rated out of 5 by 31.Rated 5 out of 5 by Willi5 from Simple and reliable A sturdy, comfortable foldie that gets me to and from work without breaking the bank or any of my bones. Possible a little heavy or ungainly for some when folded but perfect for my needs.Date published: 2018-05-18Rated 5 out of 5 by Charlie001 from Great bike I wanted and bike for getting to work but have very little space to store one so I went for a folding one. It handles hills great and it is and comfortable ride. It is light weight and easy to fold up. Around great bike.Date published: 2018-04-03Rated 4 out of 5 by lapsedcyclistreturns from easy ride Easy to collapse and fold, maybe a little on the heavy side but just how far do you carry it onto the train? I went for a 15 mile ride on the Tarka trail (Bideford) and it handled well. Good breaks for the steep streets in Bideford. Gears are a little low when you are on the flat but good for the inclines and there are plenty of those in Devon. I felt a little wobble when looking behind before turning right-not sure if it is me getting used to a small wheel bike or I'm just out of practice. Overall a good little run around bike. Got it folded and into the back seat of the car no problem.Date published: 2018-03-27Rated 4 out of 5 by MarVal70 from GREAT WEE BIKE Haven't used the bike as much as I would have liked, due to the very snowy weather. However, based on the few times that I have been out on it, I am very happy. I did try it out one day, for over an hour, when there was about an inch of snow on the ground and the tyres held the ground very well as they are crossover tyres with a good tread. I particularly like the low profile step over - makes it so much easer to get on and off. It is also very easy to fold and goes into the car without any problems. Everything seems perfect, although I would have preferred handlebar grips with a palm rest.Date published: 2018-03-21Rated 5 out of 5 by KevoB from Excellent service We went looking for 2 fold up bikes the Warrington store large selection but only one fold up bike Staff at Warrington store very helpful they offered to show my husband and I what alternative folding bike on line also explained how the one in store worked also explained how to order and have the bikes made up in our local Northwich store, staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful well done . This bike is easy to fold up to pop in the car. Very pleased with my purchase especially as it was in the sale!Date published: 2018-02-09Rated 1 out of 5 by Bikerboo77 from Replaced so much in a year it's like Triggers Broom! Was given this bike as an exchange for a Ralieigh which fell apart within a year. Had high hopes with a higher price tag, and assurances that buying an Apollo would mean Halfords could source parts easily. Less than a year old and I have replaced the rear wheel, rear cartridge, rear bearings, rear brake callipers, brake cable. Using parts from Decathlon as my mountain bike is from there and is bullet proof! Their parts are cheaper, better quality and easier to get hold of. I'll be replacing the front wheel and brakes soon, as they are sure to be the next to go!! Oh, replaced the one folding pedal with a pair from decathlon too!! much more solid and reliable.Date published: 2017-08-01Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Apollo Contour Folding Bike A well build and functional bike. bought this one in the sale and you will not get anything better for the price paid.
