Apollo Spiral Womens Mountain Bike 2017 - 14", 17", 20" Frames is rated out of 5 by 18.Rated 5 out of 5 by Behappy from Apologies spiral I love this bike,it's light weight, comfortable to ride great brakes,I got it to improve the osteoarthritis in my kneesDate published: 2018-05-13Rated 5 out of 5 by oli11 from Great bike Great little bike. Got it it my girlfriend and she has loved riding it. The brakes and gears are great. They do need to be adjusted at the 6 week checkup but nothing that you can’t do yourself within a few minutes. This is a great little bike for going off road. The suspension takes lots of hits when going over bumpy terrain. Great colour as well. Stands out from the crowd.Date published: 2018-04-27Rated 3 out of 5 by Fripfoll from Good fun, budget bike This is a light, comfy, easy ride. Good choice if you are thinking of taking up or re-acquainting with cycling, or only plan to cycle for fun in fair weather. Great price! Not such a good choice if you cycle commute all year round in rugged conditions as the parts are budget parts & do not endure! I've had mine 8 months & have had to replace both rims, a pedal, rear reflector & bottom bracket. There is also squealing front brake issue which no amount of cleaning, changing brake pad composites, toeing in, changing rim will solve. I think it is something to do with the design/materials used connecting front brake mechanism to frame.Date published: 2018-04-23Rated 1 out of 5 by lucystacey20 from Terrible bike This bike is awful. Let me give you a list of all the problems I had... First, when I came to collect the bike, which I ordered online, the bike had deep scratches and paint had come off the handlebars. Then, when changing gear, the chain would mangle the chainring and the derailleur would come lose and stick, and the chain would either fall off or jam. Then, after a few days of owning the bike, the gears would be impossible to change, and I was constantly stuck in 4th gear. After a week of owning the bike, cycling on it once a day for less than an hour, the chainring completely broke, and the teeth on it that hold the chain disintegrated.. I took the bike back to my local Halfords store and was told by the worker that "it's just the brand of the bike" and "Apollo is just a bad brand"... Then why do you sell the bikes then???? They kindly ordered a new chain, chainring and changed the gears for me (which took a week, but expected)... and the same happened again!!! Awful bike. DO NOT BUY!Date published: 2018-02-20Rated 3 out of 5 by Jonwawa from Try later It’s under the Xmas tree. .... try sending reviews after the event. Are your marketing people in the UK?Date published: 2017-12-21Rated 5 out of 5 by Kapa from Love it Really good bike, excellent value for money. It's easy to get on and off, the tyres seems really sturdy, it's a nice colour too (a bit pinker than what it looks in the pictures). Only complaint is that I found the gel seat slightly uncomfortable, but I haven’t been on a bike in a long time. I’m just going to buy a softer gel seat cover. Halfords built the bike for free (you also get a free 6 week check-up), they check the seat and handle bar height upon pick up. I think it was 4 days between ordering online and pick up from the store.Date published: 2017-06-22Rated 5 out of 5 by jmm63 from great bike for starting cycling again. Excellent value for money.. Bought as wanted to start cycling again after a very long break. Easy to use gears, Comfy saddle. Light weight frame and fits easily into the back of my hatchback.Date published: 2017-06-20Rated 3 out of 5 by BordersBoy from Bike is just average On writing this review it's hard not to mention the poor building and setting up by Halfords, this has sadly detracted from the enjoyment this bike should be. It is currently at an independent bike shop being PROPERLY set up, I believe then the bike should achieve a better rating than I have just given it. It;s a lovely looking bike, but extremely poor and sloppy building of it has ruined the enjoyment. If you are a competent bike builder then i suggest you just assemble it yourself.Date published: 2017-06-19
