  • Boardman Road Team TT Bike - 52, 54, 56, 58cm Frames is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great 1st tri bike I've had this bike for 18 months and ridden it loads, possibly more than any other bike. I'm not an amazing cyclist and don't spend all weekend riding, so anything that increases my average speed and reduces my bike leg time is a good thing, and this does both. I've used it for mostly Olympic distance events, but I’ve used it for longer rides (90 km) with a middle distance coming up this year. I'm 6'2" and went for the 58cm frame, which was possibly a mistake. A 56 would probably have been better. Initially, I found it hard to sustain a good aero position. I have changed the saddle, added an extra headset spacer and pushed the saddle further forward to make it more comfortable. Like most have said, the rear cassette is too aggressive for the hills in my area, so i changed it to 11-28. I've replaced the stock wheels with some 2nd hand aero versions, again increasing my average speed. With the Halfords discounts combined with British cycling membership, the bike and extras described still come in under £1000, which is great value for money. Yes, there are quicker and better bikes available, but not at this price! Great value for money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant Time Trial Bike Typical Boardman performance focussed bike. Very fast. Surprisingly comfortable over a bumpy road surface. The pro gearing of 53/39 11-26 is a bit hard for me but I will get used to it and I should get fitter.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Boardman TT Bike I finally found a way to get this bike, and glad i did, its fast and the build quality is excellent, the saddle is good, the wheels are standard and weigh a fair bit, more so the back, now the issues I have, I am not the most agile guy in the world, not a stick insect either and finding the front way to low, I have since added a stem which brings the bars in more, this has helped, it also lifts the bars slightly higher, but still although better I cannot get down for long on the bars, if you are like me wanting a fast bike but not as agile and a big chap, avoid this bike, you be better getting a normal road bike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent entry point into TT or Triathlon/duathlon At sale price, this is an excellent starting point into TT or triathlon/duathlon. The drive train, gears and tri bars are excellent. I also really like the seat and seat pin. The wheels although perfectly functional are a little heavy and at some point you may want to replace these. The only thing I dislike is the rear Chainstay mounted Teckro brake which is an absolute pain to adjust. Other than that no complaints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb entry level TT Great bike for this price....gearing is setup for racing so may be a little high for weaker cyclists on hills but this is a very fast and comfortable machine on flat roads....make sure to get fitted for this bike as the tri bars a little too long

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cycling mad I am a keen cyclist who is always on his bike, I needed a new bike built with the same passion I have. I was not disappointed with this boardman. It is light, fast, agile and had fantasic build quality which is second to none. I would highly recommend this product as I have rode over 300 miles since I bought it and yet to find a fault. Great bike.
