Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome rollers These rollers rock. I've been using them for a while now and just getting around to writing a review so I have put them through the ringer. Easy to use, easy to setup, great value, great workout, and so many benefits to riding rollers vs a trainer. More of a road feel, smother pedal strokes, such a huge benefit. There is a little bit of a learning curve to riding any rollers and these are no different if you have never been on them. However after a few rides you will love them. Other thing I love about these rollers is how easy they are to store. They are well designed to fold in half and have pads to lean up against your wall so the rollers themselves don't mark up your walls. Plus easy to set up for training sessions as well. Can't say enough awesome things.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I honestly thought this would be more expensive. I cant handle riding in the cold. I cannot get my stationary bike to fit like my road bike and just sitting on that thing while its locked in position is boring and feels nothing like riding on the road. The rollers perform fine ,they fold in the middle so you can store them, and there is a band that links the middle roller to the front roller that you have to pop in place before you fully extend it, and make sure its all flat which takes all of 15 seconds and you are ready to ride. I recommend setting the thing up in a doorway, where you can easily grab the walls while sitting up on the bike. When you ride, don't focus on the rollers, look up like you would look up the road and relax your elbows and shoulders. I have rode one hour pretty comfortably but have not ventured out of the doorway yet. I am pretty happy with this item,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent Made in the USA, sturdy, quite, folds up for storage, life time warranty, and is $100 dollars cheaper than its competitor. What are you waiting for "get on your bikes and ride". The balancing learning curve is about two or three sessions, then you should have no problems riding non stop(without putting your foot down or holding the wall).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent alternative, especially in lousy weather I had a trainer for years and I still occasionally use it, but the artificiality of it drives me nuts. The bike doesn't flex and move the way you expect it to. I bought these rollers to get back some of that real-road feel. Learning to ride rollers isn't easy, but well worth it. You can use the full range of your gears to create the resistance appropriate to your workout- low resistance recovery to high resistance intervals. The need to balance will help you become a more efficient rider too, and if you put mirrors on the wall you will be able to watch your form. As to these rollers, I've had them for 3 years. I have done nothing to maintain them and have had no problems. They are very stable and durable. They roll very smoothly and are well made. Additionally, they fold up easily and take up a negligible amount of space. Setting them up can sometimes be a little tricky because of the double knuckle joint between the two frame pieces, but this is to be expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Indestructible and stable After years of use and abuse, my first set of rollers are still... rolling. The only thing that has worn out are the rubber feet on the base. These rollers are quiet and stable. The smother my pedal stroke the smoother the rollers feel. At the top end of my cadence the band starts to get a little noisy, but that isn't until 40-45 mph. That is not a pace I can hold for too long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect training - no boredom! These are my first set of rollers. I've gone through one rubber band so far, but I really enjoy rollers as an alternative to the trainer. When riding, I work on my position, cadence, focus. When I do workouts on the rollers, I feel like I've done a bit more for my riding than just turning the pedals around. The CycleOps rollers are very good. They are are relatively quiet, easy to fold, and even on a trainer mat they stay where they should and don't slide around. The roller diameter is suitable for a wide range of cadences, and I feel like the rollers are very easy on my tires. While I have little to compare them to, these were a very good investment and I'm glad I own them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Aluminum Rollers I Bought these Rollers six months ago, They're Great would recommend as living in England the weather is so unpredictable, Would say get the Resistance as It does make a difference on you getting a good work out, Felt a bit apprehensive but a lot easier to use and now get a great buzz using them, Much better than a Turbo Trainer as just more interesting to use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sure helps when you can't go outside Bought the rollers without resistance about a month ago from my LBS. After about 15 minutes on the first ride I was pretty comfortable. It's pretty smooth but I develop a vibration at about 25 mph and up, not a problem but noticeable. I ride mostly on flat roads and I'd estimate that I'm 2-3 mph faster on the rollers at a similar effort level. Great for keeping in shape and they fold up very easily so they don't take up much space.
