About our car washing accessories range

Alongside a little car shampoo and a lot of elbow grease, the best way to get that gleaming finish on your beloved motor is to use a good quality car sponge and cleaning cloth. Everybody strives for a shiny, streak-free finish, though you're not going to get the results you want if you don't use the right products.

We’d recommend investing in the following car cleaning products:

A bucket

Speed up your car wash by grabbing yourself a bucket that’s large enough to avoid you having to make too many trips. It may also be worth grabbing a grit guard. These handy products sit at the bottom of your wash bucket and isolate any dirt or debris from your mitt.

A car wash sponge

Don’t use any old sponge that you’d wash the dishes with. Instead, look out for a large, thick sponge that can cover plenty of surface area to make applying your car shampoo that little bit easier.

A car detailing brush

Brushes are ideal for tackling hard-to-reach areas on your car that you can’t scrub with a sponge. They’re an essential car detailing product - and can also be used on alloy wheels.

A quality cloth

A leather chamois cloth or microfiber cloths go a long way in helping to achieve that showroom shine. A car cleaning wash mitt is also a good shout; simply pop it on your hand and watch that picture-perfect finish appear before your very eyes. Using a mitt also minimises the risk of any damage to your paintwork.

For all of your car cleaning needs, simply take a look online or pop down to your local Halfords store where one of our experts will be more than happy to help.
