VooDoo Bizango 29er Mountain BikeMountain Bike Rider, Hardtail of the year - under £750 "Killer Value with a great ride quality, this bike easily deserves top marks." Rated 10/10!
Halfords acknowledges that Mountain Bike Rider is a Trademark of Time Inc.
A bike that needs no introduction, the VooDoo Bizango 29er Mountain Bike is a trail-destroying beast that has a slew of awards to its name, and it's easy to see why. Bumpy trails are no match for this bike's specs: a 120mm Suntour Raidon air fork soaks up all those bumps like a sponge, and the 20 speed Shimano Deore drivetrain provides an excellent range with smooth changes. The Bizango laughs in the face of mud and obstacles thanks to its large 29" wheels and Maxxis Ardent tyres which provide fantastic traction without slowing you down. If things are getting too hairy, the powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes can be relied upon in all weathers, and it's topped off with a finishing kit that provides precise and direct handling. The Bizango is the bike that's always raring to go and sulks when it has to come home.
- Frame: Lightweight double butted aluminium

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 56 reviewers.Rated 5 out of 5 by JD808 New for Old My 2014 Bizango got nicked so DL gave me a new one. Delighted to say that good just got better. Bike feels even more lively than it's predecessor and component quality is great for the price. Best thing is the clutched rear mech, chainslap begone! Halfords Straiton are pretty knowledgeable and I've extended my care plan. Mt son's Trek 3500 was stolen too and he's opted for a Voodoo Bantu. He's very happy as well. 23 May 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by Pammiej Bizango Works well for women also! I'm a girly girl who loves adventure and mud and hates pink. Love the colour and style of this bike. It's gonna stand out that's for sure. I got the 18" and was worried it might be too big but I can stand over the centre with both feet flat on floor and touch both sides on saddle at lowest. I'm just under 5ft6 with 32"inside leg. The reach is fine also, the handlebars are wide but u have broad shoulders and it works fine. Same reach as the women's Maji but the Maji has 1.5" narrower handlebars. I preferred this bike over the women's Maji 18 May 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by Wellsy2006 I well equipped bike for a fair price I've really enjoyed owning this bike over the last 4 months. It's taken me down all sorts of trails and it's coped well on 30+ mile rides. A few problems I have had - limit screw on rear derailleur somehow pushed through housing. Chain snapped. Both items were upgraded by Halfords Chelmsford, who have been brilliant with aftercare. Cameron has been really helpful. However, my bars did come set up off centre and pointing down. But they were more than happy to spend time with me getting it right. It's taken a few knocks when my talent runs out on trails and has shrugged them off. I would recommend this bike! 23 April 2016Rated 3 out of 5 by Foxynjr Great bike let down by poor quality Coming back to MTB riding after a few years I read the reviews and bought a Bizango. Unfortunately I had nothing but problems and after 2 months it went back. I had problems with the brakes (third set of upgraded pads finally solved this) and gears which was very frustrating and in the end the technician admitted defeat and Halfords swapped the bike for something better. I liked the feel of the bike but due to the constant problems never got a chance to gel properly and was glad to see it go. Service from Halfords was excellent throughout. 13 April 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by PMLS A great MTB I don't have any previous experience of MTBs (my other bike is a Specialized hybrid) and I bought the Bizango online solely on the basis of reviews, but I certainly haven't been disappointed. It oozes quality and, while not inexpensive, it's far from the most expensive: for me, the perfect balance between capability and price. It's light, feels unbreakable, goes and stops well, and has handled some pretty rough terrain with ease. I certainly haven't got anywhere near its limits yet and doubt that I will. Perhaps the gear-shifting could be sharper, I can see what those who use it on-road mean amount the high gearing being a bit low for that, the colour is not for the timid, and the 29"/wide handlebar combination took some getting used to at first after the 700cs of the Specialized, but overall I'm very happy after six weeks and about two dozen off-road rides. I fully expect it to see my cycling days out with ease. Beware: frame and wheel combination make this a very tall bike. I'm 5' 11" with a 31.5" inside leg, and the 18" frame only *just* works for me, which I should have checked before buying. 14 May 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by Stupowell2000 Unbelievable value just buy one. The overall spec and quality is fantastic at this price. 30 April 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by jb4761 Great Bike bought this to replace my old Raleigh and not disappointed smooth ride with the front forks ironing out the bumps, the shimano acera disc brake give excellent stopping power with little effort backed up with the grip from the maxxis ardent tyres make for a safe ride. the service from Dan at the Scunthorpe store was also excellent and a credit to Halfords. 26 February 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by Sleighty0109 Great bike for the money Fantastic bike for very little money.. Smooth gear changes & handles all terrain well. Easy to set fork up for different trails too. Great stability from front maxle & easy to remove when wheel is needed to be taken off. Would recommend to anyone looking for an hardtail thats suitable for rough terrain & also just for light trails too. 30 March 2016
