Coyote Connect Folding Electric Bike is rated out of 5 by 62.Rated 5 out of 5 by SantosLondon from Such good fun Such good fun. I had it all so far, single speeds, racers, mountains and this is just so good fun to ride. I love it and recommend it. Makes commuting not boring and I am able to get to the office fresh and not sweaty. I have to disagree with some reviews that say bike gets a bit uncomfortable while ridding through pot holes. I actually think the saddle is quite comfy compared to some of the racers I had. A bit heavy but it is a small price to pay. Consider getting one :)Date published: 2017-09-21Rated 4 out of 5 by Chrish89 from 1 year of use I bought this bike to use to get to work 8 miles away almost uphill all the way. This bike is super for someone who is not fit to start cycling. I am now a year in and I have had to make some modification to the bike for a reliable commute. First problem I had was puncture this bike is a nightmare to change a tyre and repair a puncture. Slime halford recommend is useless I put on new tyres (shcwalbe marathon plus) first 6 weeks of ride a puncture at least one a week after I put the new tyres on not had one. Then they is the back drum brake. If you can call it that. Never worked over complicated junk Spoke to halford and sent bike back said they had fix it but didn't. Took the bike to my local cycle shop and ask for a disk brake on £70 later problem solved. On to the battery I get the 8mile to work uphill just fine. With some charge left I charge at work and cycle home. Now 1 year in the battery is getting me to work and it very low in charge I will need a new battery soon. But I expected that. Don't get me wrong from the thing above I love my bike. It gave me the confidence to try cycling a normal hybrid bike and improve my fitness and saved me money. I think the maker of this bike have cut corners to keep costs down but then I may of never had got one if the cost was higher If you are thinking of buying one. For a commute with a little bit of work this bike is fantastic Buy oneDate published: 2017-09-18Rated 5 out of 5 by malc2552 from Great Little Bike I purchased this for occasional use but having had it for almost two weeks.I am finding myself using it more than I thought. It was easy to unpack and was running on 10 minutes. Today I have been on a 10 mile cycle ride with my 12yrs old grandson which took us on road and cross-country. I used normal pedal power when on the level and when going up inclines used the motor assisted power which was excellent. I would highly recommend this as a great all round little bike which is easy to fold and transport in the car. Battery power and charge life appear good if used sensibly and will probably give more miles than stated in the description.Date published: 2017-08-22Rated 5 out of 5 by GaryJST from Can't ask for more v I have a hybrid bike and I got this as a secondary bike to use on those rare lazy or windy days. The motor works smoothly but I am also pleasantly surprised that on low gears and with the motor off, I am still able go up the hill with ease. I hope this will somewhat prolong the battery life. The only limitation, due to its gear differential, is that, on a flat road on high gear even with the motor on, it cannot match the top speed of my hybrid bike. Without front suspension, riding the bike on Cork's bad roads can also be a challenge and require getting used to,as I have grown accustomed to the smooth suspension that my hybrid bike offers. Folding the bike itself poses no problem although pulling the handle bar down to facilitate folding can be tricky. At my present rate of use, a full charge of the battery will last me quite a while. My main concern is down the road, of the availability and costs of parts and servicing of the bike.Date published: 2017-07-28Rated 5 out of 5 by GrandadGraham from What excellent value for money We purchased 3 of these books bikes for my daughter, grandson and myself. Really enjoyable to be able to ride these power assisted bikes and keep together as a family, especially when on holiday. Have proved to be well worth the investment. Have also purchased a 3 year deal of service and maintenance for each of the bikes with our local Halfords store. The team there have been more than helpful and a pleasure to deal with.Date published: 2017-07-27Rated 5 out of 5 by Joelle from Must Buy I will keep it simple...Was thinking about buying a folding bike. Then when I went into Halfords came across a folding electric bike. Wasn't so keen at first as thought it was "Lazy" And wanted to ride to get fit, save money and its quicker for me to cycle to work. Pros Going up hill you can switch on the electric. You can switch it off while riding too. It folds up Its quick Cons Seat isnt too comfy if riding over put holes Its heavy Steering is very sensitive Even though its heavy i found if I took the battery out and put it in my backpack it was alot easier to carry (i live on the first floor) You get used to the steering (I recommend riding it with electric off or on low to start with to get used to it) The bus ride to work takes 30mins or more. I got to work in 13mins o the bike. I havent rode a bike in over 10 years and was so nervous but after actually using it its great. I have not had a puncture. But there is a bike shop on my way home so not a big deal. Plus Halfords so the green slime which I recommendDate published: 2017-07-20Rated 3 out of 5 by tchaik1234 from conect e bike in my las review i mentioned that if you get a puncture ,its only the back wheel with the brake wheel you will have problem getting off as halfords/avocet have not provided enough information in the manual how to do it .i have contacted halfords and all they can say is they are sorry,iv even approached avocet the makers they havnt replied yet,but some how theres nothing thay can do now so you are all stuck with the problemDate published: 2017-06-30Rated 3 out of 5 by tchaik123 from puncture problem this bike let me down badly wait till you get a puncture miles away from home and you try to get wheel off to change spare innertube ,the instruction book is next to useless for information i got the main two bolts off ok but i had ro remove the linkage to free the wheel but because i didnt have the infornation of how to to do it i undone the wrong nut and i was really stuck miles away had to call my friend to come and pick me up ,do just beware every oneDate published: 2017-06-26
