Rated 5 out of 5 by from Coyote connect folding ebike Reserved and collected in store at Blackburn my beautiful, shiny, new ebike. Louis called and said it was ready, a full 24 hours before it was due to be completed. Once in store, a lovely man, (who's name I don't remember, but he was dark haired and very nice), went through how to set the bike up, how to fold it down and how to maintain it. Another man called Stephen then set about sorting out the 0% finance option, which he did quickly and efficiently. The bike itself is brilliant. It's very nippy and folds down to a compact size. The only downside is that there is no suspension, so when you hit a bump in the road, you really feel it. Apart from that it's a super ride and I'm really happy with it. Overall, another fantastic experience in dealing with halfords Blackburn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good value folding electric bike As somebody who has been riding electric bikes for nearly ten years, I needed a folding electric bike that I could bring on a bus. I bought the Coyote Connect, sight unseen, having read reviews like this. I am very pleased with my purchase. Firstly, it is a 'real' bike. I have seen folding bikes with 16" wheels, that look like a child's toy. The Coyote Connect, with its 20" wheels and Kenda tyres, looks well and is a pleasure to cycle. I also bought a 'Ridge' bike bag. The bike folds satisfactorily into this, and the bag has the huge advantage that, empty, it can be folded down to a very agreeable size. You have, after all, to carry it with you, when you remove the bike. The bike weighs around 20kg, which is significant, but Hey, it has a battery and motor, so what do you expect. I availed of the free assembly at my local store.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for commuting I bought this bike last week and have ridden it every day since. My commute takes me across Liverpool on a seventeen mile trip. Previously I was taking the bus which took me an hour and a quarter each way but my commute has now been more than halved! The bike is very comfy to ride. The first time the motor kicked in, I let out a squeal because it really does let you take off! This is great at busy junctions when you have impatient car drivers revving behind you. The motor can be adjusted from low to medium to high but it's also really easy to pedal without the motor should the battery run out. I was expecting my battery to just about make the round trip on a full charge but I find that it's still three quarters full when I return home. It's not the lightest of foldable bikes if you need to take it up stairs or onto a train but I'm only just over five feet tall so anything was going to be a bit cumbersome. Fits in the back seat of our car easily though if we want to go out for the day. My husband has had a go too and now he's going to get one for himself. He's six feet four so it's suitable for all shapes and sizes. Lastly I'd read that it could do with a couple more gears. I would tend to agree. I mainly travel up quite a lot of long hills on the way to work which the bike is brilliant at but on the way home, it would be nice to be able to crank up the gears and get a bit of a spurt on. I'm nit picking there though. Overall this is a great purchase. I save an hour and a half every day where I would have been stuck on a bus. I'm getting fit for free...and it's fun! Hopefully the battery will last well but so far, no complaints at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bike This is a fantastic bike for the price. I have read some reviews commenting on the fact it needs more gears. Personally I don't cycle that much faster than the top speed in London so pedaling up to 15.5mph isn't an issue at all - no extra gears needed. I had a folding bike before and didn't feel safe on it. However, this bike makes you feel safe. The build is solid and I haven't found it particularly heavy. I have no trouble carrying it up stairs or putting it into the boot of the car. The electric aspect is fun. It gets you up to speed quickly and really helps in the headwind and inclines. Previously my cycle commute was a constant list of well-known inclines and roads that acted like wind-tunnels but with this bike I have forgotten them and the whole journey is a pleasure. It's also fun 'tricking' the bike. As long as the pedals are turning around, no matter how slow, the electric engine kicks in. It's like having a throttle. I really recommend this bike, it's not going to take you 50 miles on a single charge, but for decent commutes it is perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it but ......! It's a great little bike and I'm having such fun on it even though the weather is fairly foul at the moment! It does take a bit of getting used to if you've never ridden an electric bike before but I was up and running and getting used to it in no time at all! My only beef would be that it's a bit clunky through the gear changes, it hasn't had its 6 week check up yet so I don't know if this is affecting its overall performance but other than that it seems fine! It is heavy but that goes with its type, its easy to fold and overall I would recommend it as a foldable elec bike!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely bike Am so happy with my coyote, two minor things, 1st its a little on the heavy side and secondly would have liked the handle bars to be a little higher. Love that the electric boost only works when you pedal, going uphill is a breeze. Happy happy happy.
