Great Savings

Our combined MOT and servicing deals are a great way to make extra savings. When your MOT test is completed, you'll receive a brand new MOT certificate that's valid for another 12 months. If there's a problem with your car during the MOT test, then our testers will provide information on the fault and what needs to be done to fix it.

MOT faults can be split into various categories, and you'll need to know the difference. Advisories and minor faults won't stop your car from passing but will need to be dealt with. Major and dangerous faults must be fixed immediately. If your vehicle has a dangerous fault, it can't be driven until it's been repaired and the car re-tested.

All parts fitted at Halfords Autocentres are guaranteed for a minimum of 2 years or 24,000 miles* (whichever is sooner). Some parts such as batteries include a longer warranty as stated on the product.

If a part we have fitted should fail, it can be replaced or repaired at any of our 600 autocentres. This guarantee only covers parts and labour, excludes any additional costs incurred due to a warranty failure.

Complimentary 12-Month Breakdown Cover with Every Full or Major Service

When you Book a Full or Major Service, with or without an MOT online, you'll receive 12 months' complimentary Nationwide breakdown cover for your vehicle. The offer is available on both Garage and Mobile Expert services, providing the booking is made online at Halfords.com.

There's nothing extra you need to do, as the cover is automatically included with your qualifying car service. Your breakdown cover becomes active once your service has been completed and invoiced. If you breakdown, simply call the dedicated breakdown assistance number provided in your cover documentation. Upgrade options are also available if you'd like a higher level of cover.
