Most car manufacturers recommend a full suspension overhaul around 50,000 miles, but more frequent inspections, especially free ones, can catch problems early and prevent unnecessary damage. Regular adjustments also help maintain your car's handling. Many motorists opt to combine a free suspension check with a wheel alignment or rotation, typically done every 15,000 miles.

It's also wise to book a free suspension check if your car has recently experienced any significant bump or collision, been driven off-road, or if you've noticed any unusual noises, vibrations, steering issues, or abnormal tyre wear.

Once wear begins to affect your vehicle's performance, your service provider will likely recommend replacing the worn part to restore your car's ride and handling. Driving with worn shocks or struts and other suspension components can lead to a range of consequences, such as:

Some parts such as batteries include a longer warranty as stated on the product. If a part we have fitted should fail, it can be replaced or repaired at any of our 600 autocentres. This guarantee only covers parts and labour, excludes any additional costs incurred due to a warranty failure.

What happens on the day of your Car Check

On the day of your booking, please ensure that the vehicle is dropped off at the confirmed time with any car accessories in the vehicle (E.g. Locking Wheel Nuts). A member of our team will check your car in upon arrival.

Once a qualified technician has completed the checks, a member of the our team will contact you with any recommendations and provide a detailed no-obligation quote for any additional work.

If we can complete this additional work on the day we'll let you know, otherwise our team will confirm the earliest and most convenient time to re-book your car in for the approved work.
