Yes, as long as you’re using a well-made one that fits properly. Prior to swimming, check that it allows you to breathe easily and doesn’t fog up. Think of it as a pool inflatable; they’re fun and safe when you use the right gear and follow the instructions.

Simply pop it over your face and adjust the straps so that it feels comfy and snug. Then just breathe through your nose or mouth like normal. Keep your head above water and take your time getting used to it before you go diving off of any boats!

Rinse it off with water to get rid of dirt. If it’s still dirty, wipe it clean with soapy water. After that, just leave it out until it’s fully dry before you fold it and put it away.

Open the valve and fill it with air, either by blowing or using a pump. Once it feels firm enough, close the valve properly so it stays inflated.
