Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 96 reviewers.Rated 5 out of 5 by Patrick571 Fits very quickly I've fitted this to my Renault Megan hatchback. Once you've set it up a few times and are comfortable with where you want it positioned, it couldn't be easier to clip on and off. The bike stays very steady and secure during the drive. It's got cushioned feet, so no scratches. I would advise putting a cloth or small box over your inside pedal though, as there's a chance that might scratch. 04 December 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by Paul05 Bike rack I fitted this item to my Jaguar XF easily with no problems. the only thing I did do was cut 4 sections from a tyre inner tube and fixed to the inside of of the catches on the restraining straps to prevent damaging the boot paintwork. Brilliant piece of kit and does not move when my sons mountain bike is attached to it 30 November 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by Ironcol Single bike rack Excellent quality, lightweight easy to fit bike rack. Easy to adjust from car to car and very secure. Great bit of kit but I would wrap the frame with an old inner tube or similar to prevent scratches to the bike from the clamps.. 24 November 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by TonyW81 Really Sturdy Bike Rack After looking through a few bike racks, this had consistently good reviews. As I was on a budget I thought I would give it a go. I have just used this, traveling from West London down to Mousehole in Cornwall (10 miles from lands End), about 600 miles in total there and back. I am really impressed with it. The first time you set it up, the straps can be a little fiddly, but once you have done it a couple of times, its really quick and simple. The construction of the rack is light and very solid, and I have used this on my VW Passat estate and my Audi A3, both fitting very well. The ratchet straps that secure the bike frame are excellent, sturdy and hold the bike well. The only extra bits you will need is a sock...yes a sock to place over the pedal that sits nearest the car, so not to scratch or knock the number plate, and some cable ties to secure the bike wheels to the frame so they don't spin when the car is moving (or bungee rope of course). Highly recommend this product, simple, sturdy, easy to setup and quick and easy to remove or put the bike on the rack. 18 November 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by digger1g bike carrier The straps need some kind of padding so it doesn't mark the car as it moves slightly when wet.need to put something onto the pedal to stop it scratching the car.good value for money, quick and easy to put on to the car 06 November 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by Scopic Great product cheap price This product is very easy to set up on your vehicle. It takes me 3 minutes max. Additionally it takes even less time to dismount form my car. It is also a small bit of kit so it stores easily and does not take up much boot space. Presently it is also the cheapest single cycle carrier on the market and it seems to be very durable. All in all a very good product. 17 September 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by seif1 neat carrier Just had horrendous journey dropping son at uni, only good thing was excellent bike carrier! Small, neat and more than fit for purpose. Highly recommended. 16 September 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by Mightylionel Product seems simple but seems to work Very simple to fit and seems to work well. The pedal needs to be covered with bubble wrap to protect car body work and the front wheel needs to be secured to prevent it swinging around. A luggage tie works well. I'm not sure it would be ok on a long journey at speed but then I've not tried it for such a journey. I believe a lights board and number plate are required legally. 11 September 2016
