Clearpay lends you a fixed amount of credit so you can pay for your purchase over 4 instalments, due every 2 weeks. Ensure you can make repayments on time. You must be 18+ and a permanent UK resident (excl Channel Islands). Clearpay charges a £6 late fee for each late instalment and a further £6 if it's still unpaid 7 days later. Late fees are capped at £6 for orders under £24 and the lower of £24 or 25% of the order value for orders over £24. Missed payments may affect your ability to use Clearpay in the future and your details may be passed onto a debt collection agency working on Clearpay's behalf. Efficiency Check

Check your car's air conditioning is functioning efficiently with our Free Air Con Check. This service is delivered at our Retail stores and checks the quantity of gas and refrigerant levels. It's designed to see if the air con system simply needs to be topped up for optimal performance or is potentially in need of a more thorough inspection for leaks at one of our Autocentres.

If you suspect the system is leaking, we advise a thorough inspection at one of our Autocentres with our Air Con Diagnostic. If the system does need topping up, you can purchase all the air con essentials in-store to recharge at home or, you can book in for our air con recharge service in our autocentres. The air con recharge service takes care of everything for you, with costs dependent on your vehicle refrigerant gas type. View all our air con services here.

Leak Detection

Please note the free air con check is not applicable in Halfords Autocentres or via Halfords Mobile Experts. If you believe your air con system has a leak, you can book with Halfords Autocentres for a more thorough system and leak detection check.
