Lake MXZ303 Winter Boots is rated out of 5 by 7.Rated 5 out of 5 by nickdaw from The second pair on my second pair of these, warm and dry Yorkshire wet weather as normal, except when water runs down your leg and into the boot which any other boot will be the same, but keep moving and your feet stay warm.I've stood in puddles that come over my toes and no water ingress I've used these in - 6 and they still perform the same. I will definitely buy another pair when these wear out as my last ones did. my last pair was the old model which I had for about 8 years or moreDate published: 2018-02-22Rated 1 out of 5 by highlandcyclist from Wet and cold feet After a week’s use feels like it might be the worst £200 I’ve spent this year. I cycle most days in Highland Scotland. For the last few years I have used some very old LG Garneau winter boots, usually with waterproof or neoprene overshoes. A combination that worked well on my 2 hour on road commutes and my off road forays in the woods and hills. I wear winter boots 6 months of the year and so I’ve got some idea what to expect. Sadly the Lakes, despite their expense and weight, don’t perform. My feet are cold and wet. Partly it is difficult to exclude the water from getting in at the top, but also my toes are wet. And cold. Today, very wet. I haven’t applied any waterproofing as the instructions are to dry gently and brush off the mud. Perhaps waterproofing would help but I don’t want to invalidate any warranty there might be. Perhaps it’s just this pair, or perhaps I need to put on some dubbin, but so far disappointed. And they are noticeably heavier than any of the competition. Without any obvious benefit.Date published: 2017-11-22Rated 3 out of 5 by Paul1518 from Lakes Boots are nice and warm and collection was easy. only dissapointment was the image on the website is not the same as the boot that was delivered which was disappointingDate published: 2017-01-19Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Boot replacment Excellent service, replaced mountain bike boots quickly and efficiently.Date published: 2016-05-03Rated 5 out of 5 by ridgerunner from fantastic winter boot Finally i can stop messing about with overshoes that were a pain to put on and wore out in months. These boots were great from first ride. warm, dry and comfortable. i had a slight reservation when i realised they had no waterproof membrane but rest assured, feet stay dry. An added bonus due to the fact the SPD cleat screws do not penetrate the Vibram sole, is that you can put a foot down in wet mud without fear of water getting in. And they are surprisingly comfy to walk in. Pricey but worth every penny.Date published: 2016-01-21Rated 5 out of 5 by gib65 from Super warm and dry boots Warmest boots I've ever owned. Cycling in torrential rain and my feet stated dry. Only water you will get in is if it runs down ur legs, there is neoprene tops round the boots but in very heavy rain with shorts on the water will get in the tops, but that's true for every boots. Very prices but worth it.Date published: 2015-12-19Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great boots I did a bit of research online and came up with these boots as being well reviewed. I was not disappointed. They are simply great for winter riding. A heavy boot for competition but lovely and warm and dry.Date published: 2015-12-09
