The Kenwood KSC-PSW7EQ is a Powered Enclosure subwoofer ideal for under seat, spare wheel or boot panel mounting. Featuring the built-in high efficiency class-D amplifier means 160w of pure power packs a surprising punch – yet the competence of the electronics means you don’t need a big wiring kit or even to install this direct to the vehicle’s battery; it can be wired behind the dash on most installations.  A full labelled 5m long wiring kit is included to ease installation. The rugged and robust yet compact die-cast enclosure allows installation almost anywhere and with bass being omnidirectional you’ll think it’s a traditional sub box in the boot!

Ideal for installing as a first audio upgrade onto a vehicles factory radio system, simply connecting to speaker wires on the system.  This allows you to turn the bass down to your standard door speakers to let them really sing, and then reintroduce the bass using this powered subwoofer.  It even features “signal sensing” meaning you don’t need a traditional blue amp remote cable as it will detect the voltage and switch on or off accordingly!

If you already have an upgraded head unit you can connect using a traditional pre-out with RCA cables.

The speaker itself has a rectangular 200 x 130mm aluminium diaphragm with micro-step shape reinforcement. This micro-step suppresses the unwanted movement of the diaphragm and reproduces accurate and powerful bass sound.

Included in the box is a remote to install to a glovebox, armrest or cubby hole.  On this remote is the newly developed ACTIVE EQ TECHNOLOGY with three types of bass curves, to match the music of various genres, to truly deliver super-live sound experience.  With the wired remote you have full control of the powered subwoofer, even a volume if you wanted to turn it down for a phone call or just when you aren’t in full music party mode.
