Whether you are a professional or a DIY enthusiast, the 5 Drawer Tool Centre will keep your workshop tidy, with all your tools neatly stored and ready to use when you need them.

It is our lowest priced cabinet and chest featuring ball bearing slides (as opposed to friction slides), which offer a smoother operation.

It has a bulk storage cupboard, ideal for larger tools and the sturdy steel construction supports weight up to 70kg. Each drawer has a load rating of 12kg and the variety of drawer depths and sizes improves the flexibility of the chest. The tough swivel castors allows you to easily move the tool chest around the workshop, so that your tools are always close by.

So good I bought two! I should have bought these years ago. If I had I wouldn't have wasted all those hours trying to find where I'd left my tools. Now, (provided I've remembered to put them back!), I know exactly where to find them. Do line the drawers with pieces cut off the Halfords Universal Drawer Liner Roll to stop all your tools rattling around. The ball bearing slides on the drawers work smoothly and silently, especially when fully loaded. 20 May 2012
Just the job! Other reviewers have summed this product up very well, it does exactly what its meant to do. Easy to assemble, it's very sturdy and with normal use and proper maintenance as outlined in the assembly manual it should last years. 17 August 2012
great value Excellent value for money. Obviously not Snap-On quality, but does a great job of keeping all my tools in one place and I can now find everything. Drawers work well with a little extra grease. Metal is a little flimsey but once assembled is a sturdy unit. 16 July 2012
good for the price This arrived very quickly and arrived in good order putting it together was not hard and for the price the tool centre is not bad it is not as good as say snap on tools but then its not in the same price bracket. I would buy one again 04 June 2012

Good value I think this tool chest would be ideal for a hobiest or at home DIYer. It's not quite strong enough for use professionally. The walls are quite thin, but the chest feels sturdy enough. I'd recommend lining the draws with non slips mat, and if you buy a 4m roll from here, it will be enough. I agree with a previous poster that the drawers could do with coming out further, but really, it's not a bit issue The unit was very easy to assemble (do this at home on your carpet, as you need to turn it upside down) 23 April 2012

Please confirm that all drawers are ball bearing as the one in my local store is marked as, and definately has, friction slides. Allso the listing says 2 different max weight per drawer which is correct ?

Hi, thanks for your interest in 5 Drawer Tool Centre. The unit was originally friction slide but changed specification to ball bearing slide over a year ago. Please check with your local Halfords store. The load rating per drawer should be 12kg.
