Boardman Mountain Bike Comp 27.5" 2016 is rated out of 5 by 23.Rated 5 out of 5 by SmokeyUK from A mountain bike that works straight out of the box! I've been mountain biking now since 1989 and in that time I've owned many bikes. I can honestly say that this bike is worth every single penny of the £500 or so pounds I paid for it. To put this bike in to context, it performs better, handles just as well as and feels infinitely more comfortable to ride than I bike four times its value. The bike is surprisingly stable, the suspension very responsive and easy to set up. The gear changes aren't silky smooth but more than acceptable for a bike in this price range, the brakes are fantastic and the wheel-set is more than adequate for everyday use. In short - you won't be disappointed with this bike, go buy one!Date published: 2017-06-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Moogman65 from Good spec for the money quality frame and components. Rides well and has smooth gear changes. Frame finish and paint is bang on! Suntour fork and crank set perform well above my expectations.Date published: 2017-05-08Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great bike So far so good, had this bike for 3 weeks now,It's a great entry level bike. I'm not much of a cyclist but I've had some fun off road rides. Everything works fine and I've had no issues.Date published: 2017-04-30Rated 5 out of 5 by hddhjd from Bordman comp 27.5 MTB I ended up with this bike after much deliberation between other models. Heavily discounted 2016 model left me with cash to spend on accessories. Sram X5 gears are smooth, the bike inpsires confidence over loose ground and the hydraulic disc brakes offer excellent feel and stopping power. The Suntour Raidon air fork lacks travel for me, but hopefully this could be sorted at next service. Overall a great mid range hardtail bike set up nicely by the team at Bracknell.Date published: 2017-04-21Rated 5 out of 5 by oldno87 from I love it Really nice bike to get started on trails. Am Happy with itDate published: 2017-03-02Rated 5 out of 5 by Scaifey from Boardman mtb Very good bike and excellent service by the staff at halfordsDate published: 2017-02-10Rated 3 out of 5 by ellis333 from rusty sprockets and derailleur are rusty forks don't work anymore lock off snap bottom bracket rattles and brakes are too noisyDate published: 2017-02-01Rated 5 out of 5 by MattyJ1971 from Boardman Mountain Bike Comp 27.5 I purchased the Boardman at the beginning of January. It's been to Cwmcarn and the Afan Valley. Took on the RED trails without any issues at all. Gears are great. Tyres - plenty of grip and very good on tarmac. Brakes are a little rough, but they need time to bed in. The frame is very light for a bike of this price range. I haven't really got anything bad to say about it. Well worth the money.Date published: 2017-01-29
