SealSkinz Thin Ankle Length Socks is rated out of 5 by 38.Rated 5 out of 5 by fitgirl from Keeps my feet warm! I bought these socks for my bootcamp - outside exercise in my trainers on (usually) wet grass. I was surprised by the plasticy feeling on the inside of the socks when I first put them on, but they kept my feet dry and warm! These socks are thin enough to let me wear my usual trainers. Highly recommended.Date published: 2017-01-21Rated 4 out of 5 by Tomtofi from Keeps you dryish Tested them yesterday for the first time on a 70k cycling exersice. Had couple of shovers along the way, and sealskinz kept my feet dryish. Not completely dry, but certainly dryer than before when I was using my shimano overshoes. I Will definetly use them on my next ride in the wet too...Date published: 2016-08-06Rated 5 out of 5 by BIG RAB from Very comfortable Excellent product, does exactly what it says on the tin.Date published: 2016-06-12Rated 1 out of 5 by ABZRangy from Hole in the toe after 1.5 hrs I wore these pretty much the day after they arrived, my goal was to have warm dry feet when cycling (road) without using over shoes! Alas after the first hour I felt something was amiss, up until that point all was great. Got home and checked, right foot had a large hole in the toe! Disaster ! I know what your thinking, I must have raptor like toe nails, not the case nails were nice and short as I had a triathlon 2 days laterDate published: 2016-06-01Rated 1 out of 5 by Jackie from Work well but quickly developed holes. Had these a couple of months and they kept me warm & dry, but have now developed holes I the big toe area so are no longer waterproof.Date published: 2016-03-08Rated 5 out of 5 by jrun from Very comfortable sock for mountain running Have used these for a couple of marathons/ultra distance over the mountains in the past few months and my feet were very comfortable during each run. They have become my running sock of choice and I now use them for short road runs as well. Very waterproof and even when the water does get in (e.g. wading across a river), my feet were still in much better shape that with 'ordinary' running socks. Would definitely recommend.Date published: 2016-03-05Rated 5 out of 5 by BEH400 from Doe what it says on the Box. These socks are completely waterproof and breathable. I am delighted with them.Date published: 2015-12-30Rated 5 out of 5 by SharonA from Dry feet I've had a pair of these socks for a month or so and wear them weekly for Nordic Walking. You need flexibility around the ankle so I thought waterproof walking shoes were what was needed but I have a couple of fabric pairs and found that as the walk involves walking through grass I was still getting wet feet. Having spoken to staff in outdoor shops none of the fabric, waterproof shoes keep your feet dry when walking through long grass. I've had dry feet at the end of the walks since wearing these. Your feet do get hot and sweaty but I can cope with that for dry feet. If you are taking part in very active sports this might be more of an issue. The fabric isn't like normal socks but I have found it comfortable. They are bulkier than normal socks, though not from hiking socks I would say.Date published: 2015-12-20
