Britax Advansafix II SICT Booster Seat is rated out of 5 by 12.Rated 5 out of 5 by DavidM79 from Great car seat Really happy with this car seat. Easily adjustable and it's comfortable even for long trips. One of 3 kids car seats across the back seat of a Ford GalaxyDate published: 2017-03-07Rated 5 out of 5 by HJW123 from WARNING! Halfords have got this advertised incorrectly!!! It is actually a 5 point harness up to 18kg, NOT the 25kg, that is advertised on here!!! Otherwise this is the best on the market and love it. Just wish the 5 point harness when up to the full weight limit, as I have a very tall, big 3 yr old who is already too big for the 5 point harnessDate published: 2017-03-01Rated 5 out of 5 by Sam24 from excellent product from an excellent team carefully tried it on my car before buying. halford's team good knowledge of car seats. good car seat. excellent team. worth it.. my car seat is sorted for good.Date published: 2016-11-15Rated 4 out of 5 by SFHR from Best in this age range (9mths - 12 yrs) Safe, secure & comfortable. Anchors in to the car extremely firmly with isoifx, top tether and seatbelt. Our kids are 2 & 3yrs so we keep both seats in the recline position and they both sleep well and look very comfortable - their heads don't tip forward as they have in other seats. They are also happy in this position when awake. Adjusting the recline position with top tether can be a bit tricky but since we don't change the position it's not an issue. Particularly like that the harness can be used for longer (up to 25kg). Only irritant is the buckle that goes between the legs doesn't stay upright and always gets caught under the child as they are put in to the seat. The grey plastic cover on the front fell off both seats on day one but it's only cosmetic.Date published: 2016-11-03Rated 5 out of 5 by Drpf from Good solid feeling product. Well made feels like it will do what it needs to. Easy to install. Not sure why the top tether comes with such a long strap My 2 year old finds it very comfy and is easy to get her in and outDate published: 2016-10-12Rated 5 out of 5 by Queeeie from Hard to find 5 point harness seat up to 25kg Very sturdy and well made. Halfords fitted it for us. Not easy to find a car seat with 5 point harness up to 25kg. Not keen on my 3 yr old being belted in just yet so this is perfect. He's fallen asleep a few times no problems and the issue with the seat buckle that other reviews mention is no hassle - I've found that the child sits on it with every seat we have purchased. If it was any further forward it wouldn't be a secure harness !Date published: 2016-10-11Rated 5 out of 5 by ajr79 from top quality car seat with harness uo to 25kg I spent a long time looking at car seats for bigger children. Didn't like the idea of putting my 2.5yr old in just a seatbelt as he is 18kg. As far as I am aware this is the only forward facing car seat available in the Uk with 5pt harness certified up to 25kg. All the rest are only 18kg. Construction wise it feels very solid, lots of cushioning and passing and very secure. It give you the possibility to fix it with isofix, seatbelt and rear there ALL at the same time, so incredibly sturdy. Bit pricey but I believe it is well worth it and will get many years use out of it with the extra benefit if extended 5pt harness use.Date published: 2016-10-09Rated 4 out of 5 by Cargall from Really secure fitting seat Great seat, harness to 25KG was our main criteria when shopping. Installation is fairly simple for me, I found never having fitted via isofix before that the isofix piece on the car seat was been pushed back in as I was trying to connect it to the clips. I had to sort of hold the fitting part until I could get one side on. Once in with the isofix, top tehter and seat belt this seat is not going anyway. I would suggest that while is says is a group 1 seat that a move from a baby seat direct to this would be too much, the seat is quite upright (despite the recline) The main element of a difference is that the actual seat part is not very deep, so you don't have the comfort level with a group 1 seat. My son is almost 3.5 so he is fine with it. I do agree with the point that the harness lock element by design goes back and in under the child each time they go into the seat. Adjusting the seat pre putting it in was easy, it was very easy to raise the head rest. I find the head support great, we've used it on a few 3/4 hour journeys and my son slept in it no issues. Lots of pro's from us. Con is about the harness connection going under the bottom A con regarding the isofix on fitting but that may have been down to me never having done it before. Do take into account my comments if you are thinking of this as a move from a baby seat. Go see it in a store to see what I mean. I can see us getting years of use from thisDate published: 2016-07-20
