Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 51 reviewers.Rated 4 out of 5 by Furryhands SKS Raceblades Fits well on aTrek Domane , not so well on my Specialized Roubaix from 2012 due to the slightly strange kick back shape that these bikes have on the seat stays and forks. They are a well made product but work much better with the tie wraps provided as opposed to the elastomer straps. 18 October 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by IndifferentAgain They do the job ONCE you've fitted and adjusted Bought these for my road bike that has very limited clearance and no eyelets. They are top quality items and the principles are sound - clip them around the forks or stems with hi-tech rubber bands. Unfortunately it's a bit more complicated than that. Initially after fitting they squeaked and clattered over ever bump and pothole and to make matters worse seemed to 'slip' (good old gravity at play) and ended up rubbing on the tyre(s). To get around both problems took a bit of work, but it was worth it. Firstly I applied extra tape to the bike frame to prevent scuffing my lovely paintwork. That has an added benefit of 'bulking up' the mounting contact area. Next I lubrated the rubbers and mounting plastic with silicone grease - all squeaks vanished in an instant and ALSO allowed for much tighter fitting of the rubber bands (as the rubber becomes more supple when greased). Lastly I made the point of screwing the sliding U-Brackets on the guard tops themselves once I'd adjusted clearance (as per instructions) - this is essential if you don't want vibration and gravity to affect positioning. The end result - superb mudguards doing as good a job as 'permanent' ones, whilst being instantly removable and looking really sleek. Oh and quiet too! 18 October 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by SpinBoy Great winter mudguards These mudguards made by a German company are superb and used for the first time on a rainy ride today. No more wet faces from riders behind me. Very easy to fit and look nice on the bike too. 15 October 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by Steve3369 Easy to fit a work well Easy enough to fit if you follow the instructions. A bit more expensive than some but worth the extra couple of pounds in my opinion. Main feature for me is that they do not have to be squeezed through a frame/brakes and are firm enough on the frame 02 October 2016Rated 2 out of 5 by BonnieBoo Job half done There were a good price on line. Rear fitted easily and will do the job. The front just would not fit, falling foul of the gear cable barrel adjusters under the down tube. 24 September 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by Clarkson40 Great and do a top job - but painful to fit! First ride today with guards fitted. They worked perfectly in a wet and windy ride. I fitted them close to the tyre and hoped they weren't going to rub and didn't at all. Very good fit! However, give yourself and hour or 2 to get them fitted. I'm a bit of a perfectionist so probably took me longer than most. All in all a great product. Gave 4 stars and not 5 for fitting time. 5 out of 5 once on the bike :) 04 September 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by Mags61 Clip on mudguards These really are good, particularly with the extension (different and better than in the picture) that you can screw on at the bottom of each guard to keep excess splashes away. We've now got three sets on three different bikes and my only complaint is they don't naturally fit comfortably on the variety of front forks we have. With a bit of fiddling you can get them how you want them. It's certainly worth the effort as they are very effective and very easy to take off and put on. 02 July 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by networkned99 Great for awkward fitting I have a Principia race bike with no eyelets for traditional mudguards and no tyre clearance. These guards are an ideal fit, as long as your frame tubes aren't a strange shape. I have triangular seat stays which made locating them a little interesting, but now the rear guard is sorted it goes on and come off with ease. My forks are deep section aero carbon which I though may be a problem, but the front guard has adapters which made fitting the front a breeze! 30 April 2016
