ReviewsMongoose Sector 29er Mountain Bike 19 19Best budget 29er I looked at a few 29ers & decided on this for price, as an intermediate rider like myself you can pay a lot more money for a bike when this has almost every thing you need, swap out some of the cheaper parts for better after market ones & you'll have a great bike for still less than you can pay for a similar spec'd bike. I've only had the bike 5 weeks & already tackled some of the North west best trails, grizdale gisburn etc. 08 December 2014Excellent Bike This bike is brilliant. Easy to get over hills. First day I got this, I managed to do over 30 miles easy. The seat can be a little uncomfortable but you get used to it within a couple of days but either way it is a great buy! 22 November 2014A good store and good buy I own a specialized bike myself, and bought the mongoose for my other half and she loves it. Was also well built in this store and the bike isn't bad for the price with disc brakes and suspension and 29" wheels. I've ridden it aswell and it's not a bad buy for a beginner bike/intermediate rider. The gears are good too. 18 November 2014great bike This is a great bike. Had mine a few weeks now and love the smooth ride of this bike.the larger wheels are great have knocked a few minutes off my time to work without any extra effort. The only bad thing I can think of for thus bike is the saddle could do with a bit more padding. 17 October 2014Great ride Seat comfortable, lots of gears really fast. Had a great time out in the forest yesterday 06 October 2014Great Bike Brilliant bike, and the staff in the shop couldn't have been more helpful. :) 29 September 2014Great value mountain bike I wanted a decent bike for a reasonable price, and I got it! Although there are better bikes out there, you'll pay a lot more money unless you go second hand. This bike has a lot of features you wouldn't expect for the price (I especially like the 29" wheels), and from what I can tell the build quality is high. Get it set up properly (as with any new bike) and you'll enjoy riding this. Only minor issue, which will resolve itself, is that in the UK 29" is still an unusual wheel size, so attachments like pannier frames and mud guards are hard to find. Certainly they didn't have any in store which fitted. 16 September 2014Excellent value Really great value bike, couple if issues initially due to poor build in store, gears kept slipping and handle bars came loose and the chain was poor quality it got stuck in front crank and bent in 3 places, Halfords replaced the chain, retuned the gears and oh yes squeaky back break. Other than that great ride. 15 September 2014
