VooDoo Zobop Full Suspension Mountain BikeThe VooDoo Zobop Full Suspension Mountain Bike's fantastically bright colour isn't the only thing about this bike that'll turn heads. The ultimate off-road machine, the Zobop combines all-day comfort with adrenaline pumping performance for the ultimate outdoor experience. A full-sus is all about the suspension, and it doesn't disappoint: a 140mm Rockshox Sector air fork helps keep the front end under control, whilst the rear Suntour Epixon shock keeps the back end in check. Slick shifting is a given thanks to the 20 speed Shimano Deore drivetrain, and when it gets a bit too fast, you can slow things down with the Shimano Altus hydraulic brakes. The Zobop is finished off with 27.5" wheels shod in Maxxis Ardent tyres, which provide fab traction without sapping speed.
- Frame: Lightweight aluminium
- Forks: Rockshox Sektor 140mm forks for excellent off-road performance
- Gears: Shimano Deore 20 speed gearing for ultra precise and fast shifting
- Brakes: Shimano Altus hydraulic disc brakes for controlled stopping on long descents
- Wheels: 27.5" double wall VooDoo wheels with Maxxis Ardent tyres for strength
Please note that seat posts may vary between size variants.

VooDoo Zobop Full Suspension Mountain Bike 2016 is rated out of 5 by 17.Rated 5 out of 5 by stvr0s from Awesome awesome value for money I bought this after owning a hoodoo for a year. I love this bike. It was awesome value straight out of the box and it handles fantastically out on the trails. If you're looking for your first serious bike and don't want to spend more than £1000 then in my opinion this is the only viable option if you want to be able to push your riding. The best thing about this bike is that you can build it up into a really decent ride with good spec parts bit by bit but straight off the bat this bike is ready to thrash. I'm a big guy and I have hucked, dropped and jumped this bike repeatedly and the frame, fork, wheel and brake combo work well without ever giving me problems. I have now however upgraded parts due to personal preferences (saint cranks, carbon bars, 1x10 hotllowtech2 cranks and bb, short 40mm stem, dropper post, bigger tyres, fox float rear shock, avid code r brakes with 200mm rotor))so I have changed everything other than the frame, forks, rear mech and wheels but I need not have done so, fact is this bike as standard is better spec'd out than some bigger names bikes costing £1000 more. The one and only thing that really disappointed me was the bearings that they used for the headset in this bike. Shocking to say the least! The shallowest of steel cups with tiny flimsy (barely) caged bearings lying hidden under that fsa top cap. This is the kind of thing I expect to see on a £50 kids bike not on a £1000 mtb that you are pitching to people who want to shred! The other thing is the guys assembling the bikes havent greased the headsets or the linkage bearings (they're sealed but no grease around the cartridge or the frame joint) on the rear so I would ask halfords staff to do this if they're assembling the bike for you. Forgetting these minor annoyances, if you want something you can start out on, but gradually turn into a customised trail muncher, or even if you just want a decent bike "as is" ... this bike won't disappoint for the money you're spending.Date published: 2017-10-12Rated 5 out of 5 by Bigjack69 from Zobop All round very good bike for the price, gear changes are so smooth and rides really well, only negative is the seat post is too long but nothing an angle grinder can't fix. Would highly recommendDate published: 2017-08-29Rated 5 out of 5 by TheBadDad from Great bike, great service I’ve been out on my Vobop several times now, including red single tracks and the dirt jump and downhill skills park at Sherwood Pines. The Vobop is nimble, stable and fast giving me enough confidence to tackle anything the tracks have thrown in the way. The suspension absorbs shocks effortlessly although on lock-out, which is easy to do on the move (no vicious rear lock-out), there is still a small amount of movement front and rear which I quite like. The 2 * 10 gearing is perfect for me, taking effort out of the climbs whilst still providing flat out downhill speed. The brakes are responsive and easy to feather. I’m 6 foot and have the 20-inch frame and there’s plenty of height adjustment for the post and comfortable seat. The grips are good but I will be getting larger diameter ones to suit my hands. I'll probably a dropper post too. Judicious use of black PVC tape on the fork crown seems to control the cable rubbing. I'm very pleased and would recommend both the bike and the Halford’s Bike Hut team to anyone.Date published: 2017-08-14Rated 5 out of 5 by Mechhead from A Lot of Bike for the Money If only the group set was shimano and with a longer range then this would be awesome. Just falls short on some gearing but it makes up for it with great build quality, great handling, and being pretty light weight for full sus (14kg) Pretty good forks with 140mm travel and good adjustment. certainly take the lumps out of the trail. Comfortable cockpit. which reminds of the cube sting 120 but actually handles better (maybe the 27.5 vs the 29?). No poplock for front forks but you can fit one. The rear sus locks and is easy enough to use on the go but it leaves significant play where uphill (along with gearing) can waste some energy. Having done my best to be honest with the few negatives it has, overall it's a bargain and I don't think there's a better bike for 1000, maybe the Boardman FS Team is as good and maybe if you bought second hand or if you were lucky in a sale you'd get better spec but if its a new £1000 full sus go for it!!!Date published: 2017-07-25Rated 5 out of 5 by LeDaSu from Loadsa Fun & Absolute Bargain I've been cross country mountain biking for about 5 years. My first bike was a decent hard tail 26er, which was great at the time and it owes me nothing but seeing my mates shredding on their full sus-ers, made me start looking for an affordable FS. After reading a few reviews online I began looking at the Halfords brands, Voodoo and Boardman. Both had great reviews on the usual bike websites you'd go to. I opted for the Voodoo as I wanted the Shimano brakes and, to be honest, it looks cooler. I've not been disappointed. I'm smashing my PRs on Strava (probably due to it being 650b) and enjoying the downhill like never before. 100% recommend. Build quality seems excellent.Date published: 2017-05-23Rated 5 out of 5 by Tommo66 from Voodoo zorbop This is an awsome bike ive ridden hard core hard tail bike but since my knees are suffering I went onto a full suspension bike it's definitely a bike that rivals bikes costing twice the moneyDate published: 2017-04-16Rated 5 out of 5 by Gp88 from Voodoo zobop Great bike, the colour looks better than the images on the website. more contrasting black than it seems meaning a bettter colour balance, although i have noticed the paint does chip reasonably easy. Ive riden this bike for about 4 weeks now and its geat no issues so farDate published: 2017-03-31Rated 4 out of 5 by smartecosse from Fantastic bike & well worth the money Great package for the price. Decent level of equipment.....well designed and compared to the competition excellent value for money. Only complaint which is a minor one is that on the 16" frame although a bottle cage can be mounted there isn't enough room to have the bottle in it but as normally use a backpack just a niggle rather than an issue and obviously due to the smaller frame. Overall very pleased with the bike.Date published: 2017-02-15
