Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 49 reviewers.Rated 5 out of 5 by Becca1987 Great bike for the money Having used a hybrid for years, I was reluctant at first to get a road bike, and it has taken me a few weeks to get used to this bike. However, with a change of stem and some inches taken off the seat post, I'm really enjoying riding it now. I'm pretty short (5ft) hence why even the smallest frame still needed some jigging around with, and my commute is pretty busy through central London, so it takes some time to get used to the new positioning and the sensitivity of the handlebars. Having said that though, it's a breeze to cycle. It just zips up hills, and on the straights you can really pick up speed. It's lovely and lightweight, I live on the first floor and there is no issue carrying it up the stairs. I got panniers for the back too which I don't feel hinder the ride. I cycle 6 miles each way and this bike is more comfortable than my hybrid over that distance, plus is takes much less time. I can't compare it to other road bikes, but for the price it's brilliant. The only thing I'm finding with it at the moment is that sometimes the gears stick a little, but this will be picked up in the 6 week check that the bike comes with (hence why I've only given it 4/5). Halfords were great, they made all the adjustments for me, no issues there. 20 September 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by Nicola18 The bike is fantastic value I purchase the Carra Zelos & was served by the very helpful polite manageress Sam at Halfords Enfield she was rushed off her feet with so many customers & kept on apologising for the long wait . Her knowledge of bikes is remarkable & it was her who recommended me to buy a Carrera especially as I cycle 12 miles daily .i have never had a bike of this kind considering I've been cycling for 30 years . It will take me some time to get use to it but Rome wasn't built in a day . Thanks Halford Enfield for you caring approach . 04 September 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by Lorraine42 I love this bike I am new to riding and after a really shaky start I now LOVE this bike. It took a few weeks to get used to and I have removed the pedals and replaced without the toe clips. (Personal preference). I have too have lost reflectors so do tighten them up - I found mine and refitted. I started on a mountain bike a couple of weeks before I bought this bike and the ease of riding when I swapped was amazing. Instantly easier to ride, faster and hills became a doddle. I felt to fast to start with but not an issue now. A bargain at the lower price on it now. 31 August 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by Carls27 Great buy!! A great bike, does everything I need to get me from A to B. Very light and rides like a dream! Can't ask for much else! 17 September 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by 996ducati Great value I purchased this bike as a first racer for my young son, yes I know it's a women's bike but I wanted a full sized 700c wheel for him and secondly he is not tall enough to ride anything else. The bike is great value at £159 in the sale and as a starter bike it has everything you need to see if you want to progress and step up to a higher spec machine. 08 September 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by Munick Good bike!!! This is my first road bike. I use it nearly everyday. It's quite light and good to climb the hills. The staffs in Halfords are friendly and helpful. Very pleased with the service. 22 July 2016Rated 4 out of 5 by millieandme good value for the money i looked through all the reviews before i ordered this bike so i knew what to expect , the bike was ordered instore on Thursday night delivered assembled and ready for collection on the following Tuesday , no problems there . i don't like pedals with cages and i can see why the reflectors brake off they are flimsy so i binned them and fitted a set of standard pedals, and as for the handle bar bell put it on my 5 year old's bike all in all its a good buy .. 21 July 2016Rated 5 out of 5 by SUZIEQ41 Lovely entry level bike This is a great entry level bike. 43cm is fine for me and I'm 5 4 but with short torso. The bike is really well balanced and rolls on the road very easily so good for those not so fit! Agree that the reflectors fell off immediately, I have changed the pedals as they have a very small footplate which I don't like. I also always take the straps out of the toe clips as get caught up. Overall, very impressed. Could do with more gears but that is because I am unfit and fairly heavy so hills are hard ...but getting better. Seat I find comfortable which is a surprise when you look at it. 03 September 2016
