    • Coyote Connect Folding Electric Bike is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 65.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not everyone’s cup of tea! But I like it I have had lots of bikes over the years, with a “let’s get myself fit” thought. I’m still overweight and unfit..... however, I really think it’s goin* to Work this time, and let me explain why.. I have a very dodgy ankle, with osteoarthritis in it, and can sometimes hardly walk. My daily commute, is only 2 miles each way, but coming home is all uphill. Previous bikes have included hybrids, road bikes and mountain bikes, all good going to work, not so good coming home... until now! This bike was bought to go in my camper so it had to fold, and be easy to ride. I now use it daily for commuting, as the uphill leg still needs some pedalling, but it is assisted, after the first week, I have reduced the level of assistance to medium, and lost weight, and feel fitter. The ONLY issue was when riding it for the first time, a bump in the road made the seat fall a couple of inches, I undid the clip, slightly tightened the “nut” and refsatened it bingo! Don’t hesitate to buy one, as I did. I wish I’d bought this in may, not October... enjoy it, I do

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good solid bike The bike offers a lot for the value it’s offered at. It won’t exceed 18 mph and it’s battery will only last about an hour. Also it doesn’t have any suspension which means that you can feel every bump. However, it makes cycling much more enjoyable and really powers up hills making the journeys much more relaxed. I use it for communiting through hilly main roads to work which is approximately 5 miles away and it works great for that. I don’t think it has much potential for casual bike rides and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who has a bumpy commute.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth the money This is my first week with the Coyote Connect. I bought it to get me to work and back on dark, cold, wet wintery days. (I am a 13 stone, 5 feet 10 inch male) It's a ten mile round trip. The performance of the bike (once you get use to it) is excellent. The route is very hilly and a little rough at times, quite a head wind too. The journey to work is always fine, 100% minimal effort. On the way back the battery starts to diminish a little so more work is needed. It's important to use the gears and understand that a degree of effort is need to peddle as well. BUT all in all it's an excellent bike for the price, the range is more like 10 - 12 miles (but it could be the new battery needing a few more charges before it works 100%) I would recommend this bike and I would buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such good fun Such good fun. I had it all so far, single speeds, racers, mountains and this is just so good fun to ride. I love it and recommend it. Makes commuting not boring and I am able to get to the office fresh and not sweaty. I have to disagree with some reviews that say bike gets a bit uncomfortable while ridding through pot holes. I actually think the saddle is quite comfy compared to some of the racers I had. A bit heavy but it is a small price to pay. Consider getting one :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 1 year of use I bought this bike to use to get to work 8 miles away almost uphill all the way. This bike is super for someone who is not fit to start cycling. I am now a year in and I have had to make some modification to the bike for a reliable commute. First problem I had was puncture this bike is a nightmare to change a tyre and repair a puncture. Slime halford recommend is useless I put on new tyres (shcwalbe marathon plus) first 6 weeks of ride a puncture at least one a week after I put the new tyres on not had one. Then they is the back drum brake. If you can call it that. Never worked over complicated junk Spoke to halford and sent bike back said they had fix it but didn't. Took the bike to my local cycle shop and ask for a disk brake on £70 later problem solved. On to the battery I get the 8mile to work uphill just fine. With some charge left I charge at work and cycle home. Now 1 year in the battery is getting me to work and it very low in charge I will need a new battery soon. But I expected that. Don't get me wrong from the thing above I love my bike. It gave me the confidence to try cycling a normal hybrid bike and improve my fitness and saved me money. I think the maker of this bike have cut corners to keep costs down but then I may of never had got one if the cost was higher If you are thinking of buying one. For a commute with a little bit of work this bike is fantastic Buy one

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Little Bike I purchased this for occasional use but having had it for almost two weeks.I am finding myself using it more than I thought. It was easy to unpack and was running on 10 minutes. Today I have been on a 10 mile cycle ride with my 12yrs old grandson which took us on road and cross-country. I used normal pedal power when on the level and when going up inclines used the motor assisted power which was excellent. I would highly recommend this as a great all round little bike which is easy to fold and transport in the car. Battery power and charge life appear good if used sensibly and will probably give more miles than stated in the description.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't ask for more v I have a hybrid bike and I got this as a secondary bike to use on those rare lazy or windy days. The motor works smoothly but I am also pleasantly surprised that on low gears and with the motor off, I am still able go up the hill with ease. I hope this will somewhat prolong the battery life. The only limitation, due to its gear differential, is that, on a flat road on high gear even with the motor on, it cannot match the top speed of my hybrid bike. Without front suspension, riding the bike on Cork's bad roads can also be a challenge and require getting used to,as I have grown accustomed to the smooth suspension that my hybrid bike offers. Folding the bike itself poses no problem although pulling the handle bar down to facilitate folding can be tricky. At my present rate of use, a full charge of the battery will last me quite a while. My main concern is down the road, of the availability and costs of parts and servicing of the bike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What excellent value for money We purchased 3 of these books bikes for my daughter, grandson and myself. Really enjoyable to be able to ride these power assisted bikes and keep together as a family, especially when on holiday. Have proved to be well worth the investment. Have also purchased a 3 year deal of service and maintenance for each of the bikes with our local Halfords store. The team there have been more than helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
