    • Carrera Virtuoso Road Bike - 51, 54cm Frames is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 60.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Carrera Virtuoso Road Bike I am 61 years old and been cycling for years having had various bikes. After all the snow we have had I was finally able to get out on my new bike. What a bike. It just seems to glide, getting maximum return for minimum effort. I am not an image man, but the bike does look the business and looks more expensive than what it is. I did change the saddle from my old bike, I do not really want to be sitting on a slim saddle at my age. A great bike, real value for money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from She can handle anything... I own a Relocation Agency & I’m an amateur bodybuilder. I own 2 cars. My last bike was a road bike (Raleigh) 20 years ago. I’m not a cardio person...very lazy! My wife surprised me by buying the bike 09/2017. I knew zero about bikes. We came out of Halfords Alperton (excellent customer service) & I fell at the traffic lights...whilst they were red!!! Moving on...I hardly touch my cars these days (Porsche Turbo included!). I love this bike. I did not like the comfort but I changed the tubes for Slime tubes & it turned into an S-Class Merc! My mates think it £1000 bike the way it looks...Manutd colours...always clean and serviced! I abuse Penny (name of bike...) hard! She just gets up & asks for more! Why should I pay a grand more for a carbon when I can out climb a few wannabe TDF winners?! Respect the Carrera...My Mrs has just bought a Veso!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great commuting road bike I purchased one of these in October for my daily commute to university (9.3 miles each way) and have now ridden almost 1000 miles on it. I've found it to be resilient and reliable, offering superb value for money. A great all rounder.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from road bike this bike is as good as any thing twice the price.only let down by very poor a pair of better wheels and you have a really good bike.ok the gears dont change as well as the more expensive shifters but the do work and do the job my opinion if you can look past the brand snobbery you will save money for upgrades when needed.but better wheels are a must.if your after a bike to use for every day use and not to club race this will fit the bill nicely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from She's a Beaut! I can't sing the praises of this bike highly enough. I got her in September and I've now done almost 1000 miles on it on some of the roughest roads in the UK around Greater Manchester and all over the Western Pennines. The potholes around here are shocking and these aren't "cycle lanes" around here, they're Paris Roubaix training tracks. I was particularly worried about this as I'm 6ft 3 and 16.5 stone (or I was as I've now lost 2.5 stone on the bike) and I've SMACKED many potholes at high speed...not a problem...she eats potholes! She's responsive, light and an all round brilliant ride. I'm back on a road bike for the first time in 30 years and I couldn't be happier with this bike. I'd also like to add that the boys and girls at Halfords Oldham have been super helpful and first class. I highly recommend the Carrera Virtuoso

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great first road bike Got this as I was sick of commuting on my old hybrid bike and my GOODNESS does it make a difference! I've never owned a road bike before so was a littler nervous that I would be wasting my money, but so far I've been blown away by how much of a difference it has made - riding is a joy again!
