Carrera Virtuoso Road Bike 2011/2012 - Medium 51cm 4.8 5 63 63
Carrera Virtuoso Road Bike 2011/2012 - Medium 51cm I'm brand new to cycling but here goes. This is a early review as I've only been on bike 4 times, first impressions are very good, The bike geometry is spot on, as are the brakes and gears. No real issues with anything as of yet, all I did was change the tyres and added my own choice of pedals. For a entry level first road bike I'd say this is a bargain, friends with higher spec bikes have made the same comment. I know this isn't a in depth review, but as a newbie that's a good as it gets.. Happy racing! 16 April 2013
Tiny issue with the front wheel After setting up with mudguards I recognized a massive humble on the front tire/wheel. I rode to a retail, where I was promised to replace the whole front wheel so now I`m waiting for my brand new wheel arriving with the delivery. No other issue, good value for money no doubt! 01 April 2013
Great starter bike I picked up my bike on Easter Monday thru the bike to work scheme...I have done over 100 miles in little over a week The bike went back twice due to problems with the gearing...now eventually sorted Bike looks good, rides well Things that let it down...pedals...rubbish, gearing..have to free wheel down hill most of the time 11 April 2013
Fantastic Offer! I am an ameture cyclist trying to lose my belly! My normal bike is mountain bike with suspension, so this bike is a bit more hard to the road (takes getting used to). But I Love this bike, is super fast, the gears are slick, and bike looks good too! I bought while in offer, 1/3 off, so for me was better than these expensive bikes from other shops. The service from Matt at Maidenhead Store was FANTASTIC!! he helped me choose, and me confident that i was making the right choice.... travel to Maidenhead Store to buy!! Totally Worth the Trip!! 11 April 2013
Woow! Im soo happy about my new bicycle, its must faster than my hybridbike from last summer! However it was a bit of a mess to buy it, The Halford store in Kilburn didn't build the bicycle as promised and I had to come back three times before they have made it. If you are passion, and don't mind taking time off work a few days, then its the right bike for you, its amazing! 10 April 2013
New bike I just purchased my first road bike at halfords i got a great deal the staff were really helpfull building the bike and makeing sure i was happy with everything thanks for all your help 04 April 2013
great first bike this bike don't think I can say anything bad about it what a great first bike I have just started riding a racer FANTASTIC BIKE 16 February 2013
Carrera virtuoso Purchased this bike after having a mountain bike for the past 13 years, I was amazed how easier and faster this bike was, hills are much easier! I was worries about getting used to the seating but shouldn't have been as its actually really comfortable. I was also unsure about the pedals with toe straps but again these are quite easy to get used to, great buy! 31 March 2013

I go out with my dad a lot on long bike rides, I ride this bike and my dad rides his bianchi, his bike weighs half as much as my virtuoso but I still beat him up the long hills! He tells me that I would be flying on a lighter bike and that my wheels are really wighty, I was just wondering how heavy they actually are and whether it's worth buying new ones
