The crate should give your dog just enough space to stand up, turn around and lie down comfortably. Too small, and they’ll be cramped. Too big, and it won’t feel secure during travel. Measuring your dog from nose to tail and comparing it to the crate dimensions is the simplest way to get the right fit.

Most travel harnesses for dogs are designed to utilize your vehicle's built-in seat belt system. When your dog is equipped with the harness, simply feed the attachment strap or tether into the seat belt socket or run the seat belt through the loops on the back of the harness.
