We stock a range of accessories, including:

Pram liners and footmuffs

For the winter months we have pram footmuffs that help ensure your little one is snug and comfortable, as well as pushchair rain covers to make sure your child is protected from whatever surprises the British weather holds in store

Pram parasols and canopies

During the warmer months, consider investing in a pram parasol or canopy, also known as pram shade, to shield your little one’s sensitive skin and eyes from the sun.

Buggy boards

If you’re travelling with a toddler or small child, a buggy board (also known as pushchair board or pram board) helps you keep up the pace and offers a highly entertaining mode of travel for your little one, making your trips from A to B a doddle.

At Halfords we stock pram accessories from the likes of Joie, Thule, Cybex and more, so you’ll be sure to find something that suits your needs and budget. For everything pushchairs, view our entire range of pushchairs and travel systems - opens in a new tab.

Pram and Pushchair Accessories FAQs

Most buggy boards come with brackets that clip or strap onto the frame of your pushchair, usually near the rear wheels. You fix those in place first, then attach the board itself. It might take a bit of adjusting to get the height and position right, but once it’s set, it stays put.

Yes, rain covers on prams are generally safe when used correctly. They provide protection from the elements and can help keep your baby comfortable during inclement weather. Always ensure the cover is securely attached and doesn't pose any tripping hazards.

It’s better not to. Most rain covers are simply wiped clean with a damp cloth, which is usually enough to get rid of dirt.

You can clip them onto the hood or handle using loops or clips. Just make sure they’re secure and not hanging where they could fall off easily.
